Extras: The best extra was clearly the 52:23 minute long Behind the Scenes feature, Jimmy capturing the action as they cast got ready to rumble. There was some photogallery material too, some anecdotal comments and interviews fleshing out the amusing showcase effort. The rest of the extras were standard package material including a cast list, a photogallery, six trailers, and a pop shot recap.

Audio/Video Quality: Out Numbered 5 was presented in the same 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen the scenes were originally shot in by director Erik Everhard for Jules Jordan Video using the MPEG-2 codec (sporting 480 resolution). The quality of the visuals varied a bit here but Everhard focused less on the technical matters instead of maintaining the usual sexual energy and chemistry. The lighting was decent and that eliminated most of the problems associated with gonzo productions, Erik's works virtually always a few notches above the competition from what I've seen over the years. The editing by Brad Stark could have used some polishing up but the basics were covered handily, the end result pretty close to what I expected out of the show. The bitrate was all over the charts here with much of the footage coming in around the 5.4 Mbps range but there were not a lot of compression artifacts present that I could see (there was some inherent grain at times though). This time, the entire show was just two orgies full of lots of babes and a few guys joining Erik, the results about what one might expect of the ordeal (orgies are tough to shoot well because so much goes on that unless you use multiple cameras, you always miss some good stuff). The audio was offered up in 2.0 Dolby Digital English using 192 Kbps bitrate and 48 kHz sampling rate but there was no separation noticed that I could figure out, and the dynamic range was pretty limited too; the scenes coming from quickly shot gonzo; the guerilla shooting style favored by pornographers everywhere.

Body of Review: Erik Everhard is a man whose reputation in porn is built on being hard driving with no holes barred so his association with Jules Jordan Video is a natural one, the man often performing in releases outside of those he directs too. Most ladies enjoy the walk on the wild side he represents and his ability to go into a trancelike state of mind to keep plowing when so many of his peers need to take breaks or cut back to softcore positions. Other than Manuel Ferrara, he is the most requested male performer by the ladies we've interviewed, their eyes lighting up when his name is mentioned so we were more than happy to take a look at his latest, albeit single disc, release of Out Numbered 5. As expected from previous volumes of the series, the idea here is that Erik and a couple of his pals get to work with a bunch of hotties, this chapter being labeled "The Final Chapter" probably due to the added expense of having so many women. The good news this time is that the ladies were almost all top notch, some of the very best the porn world has to offer including ladies on the verge of quitting the industry for good. So while there were only two scenes here, they were quite long, sexually heated, and very solid regarding replay value as so much was going on throughout the two scenarios (one being a squad of hotty maids cleaning the house and the other featuring the ladies at a car wash). Here's a brief look at the two scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Lisa Ann, Missy Stone, Heather "Janie Summers" Starlet, Katja Kassin, Sasha Grey, Erik Everhard, and Toni Ribas, were up first when Mike John hired a group of maids to clean up after a huge party. The others were busy sleeping it off and Mike found the women satisfactory, the ladies initially pairing off with the men as they woke them in the nicest manner possible, Sasha working over Toni and Lisa doing Erik, Katja, Missy, and Heather doing each other before the big orgy began. There was a lot of face sitting, rimming, blowjobs, vaginal and anal sex by the time it was all over, Sasha surprisingly one of the most active of the bunch though Katja did a mighty fine DP. Heather was the weak link in terms of how much chemistry she had but as eye candy alone she fared well enough, the genetic juice centering mainly on Sasha's mouth to close things up.

Scene Two: Amy Reid, Mia Rose, Rebeca Linares, Aurora Snow, Brianna Beach, Joey Valentine, Lela Star, Lindsey Meadows, Erik Everhard, Mr. Pete, and Steve Holmes, were up last in the second orgy, the scenario centering on a car wash outing. The guys asked for the deluxe rubdown version that included a lot of suds and skin, the blue jean cutoffs revealing a lot more than usual on the cloudy day. As expected, the amount of tease was plentiful and gals like Aurora pissed when diddled just right. The majority of screwing was done vaginally this time though Mia and a few others went all out to include anal too. There were DP's and plenty of taste testing too, the ladies focusing on their own pleasure as well as that of their friends rather than pay attention to the cameras, the population pudding swapped repeatedly between the gals but the editing not quite up to snuff here (and the cameramen over worked to say the least).

Summary: Out Numbered 5 by director Erik Everhard for Jules Jordan Video was not his usual bout of boning so much as a sampling of some mighty fine babes getting nailed by him and his friends as they paraded around in lingerie and bikinis, the focal point of the action always multifaceted enough that if you didn't like one gal, another would be along in a short time to pick up where the last one left off so I rated this one as a strong Recommended or better depending on your appreciation of orgies (I'm not a huge fan of modern orgies unless I'm participating in one myself). In short then, Out Numbered 5 ended the series according to the cover labeling it as the final chapter, the economics of porn just not allowing for such shows to be regularly shot. Given the quality of the ladies this time, fans may find some new eye candy to appreciate but I suspect the nuances of the action will keep the fanboys typing away at who performed the best or did the most, not the worst way to spend some time in front of the computer though far from the most productive so check it out.
