The BTS feature was pretty good and gave us a great glimpse of what the atmosphere was like when the main chunk of film wasn't rolling. The Digital Playgrounds BTS features are always just somehow more entertaining than others.

Video/Audio:

Deeper 8's Blu-ray release comes with a full 1080p resolution and AVC codec, like one might expect for a Blu-ray title. The film looks very good and maintains a mostly clean image from start to finish. There are some noise elements present in many scenes, but they aren't distracting and you'll only notice them if you're really looking. The one drawback for this release is the soft filter that was used, which kind of blurs out some of the sharp details we've grown accustomed to. It doesn't ruin the picture by any stretch of the imagination, but it's just not as crisp as it could have been. The 5.1 channel Dolby Digital track is everything you'd want it to be with little emphasis on channel usage, and a stronger focus on overall sound.

Body of Review:

Digital Playground's Deeper 8 keeps things pretty fresh, despite the fact that some familiar faces abound. Hannah Harper, Naomi, Bobbi Star, and Austin Kincaid have all seen their share of sex. Under the direction of Celeste, they bring their experience to the screen in this film. The end result is a collection of quality action with elements of bondage and SBDM play. If you don't mind that, then chances are good you'll dig this flick. Even if it's not your thing, Deeper 8 doesn't go "too" hard in that sense, and really just sticks to the middle of the road.

Scene 1:

Cover girl Hannah Harper kicks Deeper 8 off with a nice piece of action that sees her hands bound together for most of it. It all begins with Hannah sucking cock for a few minutes, eventually getting to have her own fun when she leans back on the sofa to take the dick she just lubed up. From here the performers swap positions a few times and Celeste tries to work in some unique angles. The end result is positive ofr the most part, though it includes some awkward focuses and glances from Hannah. Pieced together the sex is fantastic, and there's a lot to love.

Scene 2:

Naomi's scene is up next and her's begins in the shower as she comes out and finds a guy waiting for her. She's collared, dressed in lingerie, and pleasured with a big red dildo. There's some more foreplay here, but the sex gets underway before you know it. The highlight of this scene is Naomi riding her boy toy on top. Scene 3:

The third scene in Deeper 8 features Bobbi Star getting masked and fucked from behind. Scene 4:

There's some nice passion here and the bondage element adds a fair amount of kink.

Scene 5:

Bringing Deeper 8 to a close is one final scene with Hannah Harper, who starts out bound once again and strutting her stuff for her master. He plays with a paddle and spanks her a little, but it's all in good fun and there's nothing too hard about it. The best part about this scene was the part where Hannah was on her knees and looking back over her shoulder the entire time. It was really hot and I thought Celeste used the camera well during this bit. Towards the end of the scene Hannah takes charge of the action and rides his cock like its going out of style. It's an impressive display and is truly captivating!

Summary:

Deeper 8 surprised me with its bondage elements, though to be fair they were a little polarizing. Some of them where downright how, but some (like the mask) weren't quite my style. In the end it's all personal preference with this title, but the one constant is the quality of the performers and the sex. Based on the action alone this title warrants a strong recommendation. The quality of this Blu-ray disc is notable as well, though not quite as refined as we've seen in other Digital Playground efforts.
