Extras: The best extra was a 22:13 minute long bonus scene between Kylee Reese and Pat Myne, the curvy gal wearing pink lingerie as she teased in front of a mirror. Audio/Video Quality: Curve Appeal 2 was presented by 3rd Degree in 1.33:1 ratio full frame or letterboxed scenes, the 480p resolution employing an MPEG-2 codec as is usually the course for a standard definition release. This being a compilation of older scenes, the directors varied with each scene, their respective styles showing up in a variety of manners including some POV work. The general thrust of the visual matters was that the solid lighting limited the various issues with fleshtones, grain, and compression artifacts, the minimal video bitrate tending to hover around the 3.4 Mbps mark when I spot checked it. Essentially, there were no significant flaws with the scenes, the gonzo approach working in most cases with the exception of how the tease footage was often trimmed for the sake of including more scenes. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English using the standard 192 Kbps rate using a 48 kHz sampling rate most titles are mastered with, the aural experience fairly limited due to the nature of the gonzo shoot. There was no separation between the channels and the dynamic range was as truncated as ever, standard gonzo audio being okay for most consumers.

Body of Review: 3rd Degree has long been one of my favorite gonzo production companies for the way they light their sets, their casting of top notch talent, and the amount of fuck for the buck they offer consumers (nevermind the frequent sales I find their back catalog titles at for so cheap). Because the company has been such a player in terms of their work, it makes sense that they release a number of compilations, the themes of which tend to jump right out at consumers such as Curve Appeal 2. The idea behind the movie was to provide ten older scenes, slightly trimmed of their tease in most cases, to showcase popular ladies with curvy bodies. A quick look at the cast shows it had Sunny Lane, Kristina Rose, Lisa Ann, Jenny Hendrix, and a wealth of other ladies whose "curve appeal" is indisputable given their body of work, making my general distaste for compilations less irritating as I looked into this one. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Real Racks 4: Bree Olson, Mr. Pete: Bree Olsen makes up for the previous scene. I love those squeaky voices chicks like Katie Morgan. I would prefer the company simply include fewer scenes or go to a double disc set if need be rather than cut footage but for the most part, I'd be misleading you if I said there was not a lot of sweet fuck for the buck, strokability, replay value, and a fine cast of curvy ladies most aficionados would love to bust a nut in. In short, Curve Appeal 2 was almost everything a porn lover could expect from a compilation, even adding in a brand new scene to increase the value of the package, so check it out if you haven't seen a lot of these scenes.
