Grrl Juice is one of a gazillion lesbian porn DVDs on the market, but distinguishes itself by using a more urban slant, quite a bit of interracial action, and girls with a lot of tattoos and piercings. Some might be into this, some might not. Let's take a look at what's on the disc…

Scene 1 – A brunette Caucasian girl with dreadlocks and piercings in all the right places gives herself a work out on her black leather couch with her trusty vibrator, fantasizing that 'Bad Ass Angel Baby' (another Caucasian girl, this time with blonde braids) is fucking her. Scene 3 – Chazz And Angel Baby are in the weight room oiling each other up and then going down on each other after a little bit of minor foreplay. It's a shorter scene, and not one of the best.

Scene 4 - BMW and Angel Baby get together for the hottest and most enthusiastic scene in the film. The two girls are decked out in some lingerie, one in thigh high red vinyl boots, and slowly start undressing each other after some serious tongue kissing. Scene 5 – Carmella and Lupe Dela Cruz are the next contestants, and this scene is more of the same. The two hot girls get down to tricks right of the bat, no messing around or plot to deal with here. Not quite as riveting as the last scene, this one is still worth a look as the camera gets right in close and leaves absolutely nothing to the imagination.

Video:

The fullframe shot on video presentation is slightly fuzzy and overlit in a few spots, resulting in some glare issues that crop up here and there (particularly noticeable on the black couch in the first scene). Other than that, it's not too bad. Colors look natural, fleshtones aren't too saturated, and there aren't any too severe issues to deal with.

Audio

The Linear PCM audio track registered on my receiver as a two channel Dolby Pro Logic affair. Overall, the track is ok. There's a little bit of the standard shot on videotape background noise present, but if you watch a lot of porn (c'mon, admit it…) you won't be put off by the quality here. It's at least average. The film isn't really dialogue driven but what is said is audible and the background music is surprisingly not as overpowering here as it is on a lot of adult releases.

Extras:

The 'trailers section of the disc doesn't contain any trailers at all, just a goofy animated advertisement that segues into a website ad – then it stops and you have to hit the menu button to get back. The 'Angel Baby' link cuts to the same thing. The 'ButterMilk Ent.' button doesn't do anything except lock up my player and the final extra, the 'photo gallery' takes you to a similar animated advertisement. This disc isnt' exactly going to be winning any awards for supplemental material or menu authoring anytime soon.

Final Thoughts:

If you like your all girl lesbo porno action a bit naughtier and dirtier than what you get from Vivid or the like, Grrl Juice might be what you're looking for, warts and all. But if you want classy, impossibly perfect looking girls, this isn't going to cut your mustard. So I guess it all depends on what your kink is –realism or fantasy. Either way, the girls are enthusiastic and look like they're having a good time and I give it a thumbs up just for being a little different.
