We get to see two of Ginger Lynn's early scenes in Retro Files, but the rest of this compilation is filled with below average scenes from the 1980's, from movies that Knob Ryder fails to identify and with performers whose names are not listed – so only adult classic experts (i.e. not this reviewer!) will be able to pick up on who is participating.

The first scene does feature Ginger with a bearded guy who quickly has Ginger servicing his cock with a nice blowjob. After he returns the favor with a little oral action, Ginger climbs aboard in the reverse cowgirl position, gets it spoon style, and takes it doggy, before finishing him off with some more blowjob activity, which results in a facial.

Scene two also stars Ginger – this time in a lesbian scene with a young actress named Angel (whom I was only able to identify because she has an interview in the bonus material on this DVD). This is a pretty lackluster scene for Ms. Lynn, with Angel using a massager on her (check out the 80's technology!) and then Ginger licking out Angel.

As noted, the rest of the DVD contains scenes with performers I could not identify. There are five more scenes on this disc, none of them particularly entertaining. Scene three features a girl in blue lingerie getting it on with two guys, while another girl watches from a nearby chair. Scene four has a short-haired brunette and a guy pairing up; while scene five is an all-girl lesbian threesome (with an additional girl watching the action). The next to last scene takes place in an office environment and has a blonde making out with three other guys. This compilation wraps up with a brunette in a shower with a blonde-haired guy. The final scene also suffers from poor video, as it looks like the source material was a videotape with a tracking problem at the bottom of the screen.

The best part of this DVD's bonus features is an interview with Ginger Lynn that was conducted early in her career. As mentioned earlier in this review, there's also an interview with Angel. Other bonuses include a 7-minute behind the scenes look at the filming of Ginger's scene with the guy at the beginning of this compilation (although we never do find out the name of the movie), plus a slide show and eight trailers for other Knob Ryder releases.

It seems as if Knob Ryder got the rights to a couple of Ginger's less-memorable scenes and tried to make the most of it with this release. Of her two scenes here, only the first one is worth watching, and the rest of the DVD is pretty much "filler" material. Pick it up as a rental if you must, but otherwise I would recommend avoiding this DVD release.
