Audio/Video Quality: Best of Ass Eaters Unanimous 1 was presented in 1.33:1 ratio full frame as shot by director Tom Byron for Tom Byron Pictures in the MPEG-2 codec (like most standard definition titles are, using a 480 resolution). The camera work mixed it up this time with a bit of tease footage taken inside the house, including some quality time of the ladies in skimpy outfits or naked, but much of it out by Tom's pool where the lighting was better too. The video maintained a bitrate of 3.3 Mbps most of the time, reducing the obvious compression artifacts to almost none and each scene provided solid fleshtones that appeared to be accurate as Mark Zane, Tom, and others worked the cameras. The composition of the scenes was consistent too with the picture not always optimal (looking better this time though) but as far as Tom's work is concerned, it was shot with the ladies in mind; making the gals look their best for the most part or at least as much as the point of view style he employed could make them. The editing was generally decent, showing the same level of skill as the last time I checked out one of his movies for review, albeit I wished some additional tease footage was left in the scenes or provided in the extras section of the DVD. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English offering at 192 Kbps with a 48 kHz sampling rate. There was no noticeable separation between the tracks and the dynamic range was limited but I could hear the ladies and the music was not a factor so I would say it was about average in most respects.

Body of Review: Tom Byron has had a long and sorted history since leaving Houston to explore the wonderful world of porn, his current production company, Tom Byron Pictures, the home to some kinky smut. His latest title sent for review was Best of Ass Eaters Unanimous 1, a compilation of fifteen scenes of women rimming men (and vice versa) in most cases, all scenes coming from volumes 1-9 of the popular series. If you’ve ever encountered a volume of the series in the past, you’ll know that the action is tightly controlled, the partners rimming each other as well as giving head.

Having broken down many a scene in the half dozen or so volumes of the series I’ve been fortunate enough to review, there really isn’t a lot of additional detail to include here other than the cast members being (in order, duplicate males left off subsequent scenes): Isabel Ice, Trent Soluri, Kelly Wells, Paris/Heather Gables, Christian, Venus, Kris Slater, Jordan Styles, Mark Zane, Katrina Kraven, Jack Venice, Roxy Jezel, Jay Huntington, Gia Jordan, Gia Paloma, Lauren Phoenix, Sergio, Ava Ramon, Vincent Vega, Sativa Rose, Reina Leone, Joe Friday, Sharon Wild, Adam Wilde, Lisa Marie, Valentino, and Renee Pornero. If you’re new to porn, a number of these ladies are going to be a major treat for you to appreciate, few current female performers as slutty as Kelly “Fuckin” Wells, as anally driven as Lauren Phoenix, or sexy as Gia Jordan but the good news is that all of the cast members sucked ass as though enjoying the act, a few of the men a bit less comfortable on the receiving end of the tongue but everyone grasping the concept of giving head and rimming until the male unleashes a load of genetic juice, typically all over the face of the lady.

I was again surprised that the scenes were shown in reverse order to when they were shot but frankly, none of them was a bad scene. If anything, I think fans of the ladies in the series might all have different wish lists for personal “best of” lists but Tom selected some quality acts here. There appeared to be a distinctive slant towards lean but slutty white gals here but the series has never been well known as racially diverse (at least until the latest volume of the series, #22, that will get a quick look latter today or tomorrow morning). Seriously though, seeing the cast spread legs and get licked silly was interesting, my own experience in receiving such oral attention limited but as a giver, I know all too well how some women will do anything for a good rim job. It was definitely fun and nasty though so check it out if you have an interest in seeing this kind of action.

Summary: Best of Ass Eaters Unanimous 1 by director Tom Byron for Tom Byron Pictures had a variety of rimming action but was truthfully advertised, earning a rating of Recommended for the sheer quantity of suck for the buck and rimming, the quality better than expected as well. It was solid enough that I have considered getting the recently released value packages of the earlier volumes, the fetish more about pushing the kink factor for the ladies than anything else. In short, Best of Ass Eaters Unanimous 1 was fifteen scenes of women rimming others and enjoying themselves in most cases, the scenes appearing to be relatively unedited (if at all) other than possibly lacking the tease footage most of Tom’s titles have had to date. It was kinky, a bit twisted, but fun to watch so check it out if you like the genre at all.
