Audio/Video Quality: TMSleaze A XXX Parody was presented in a 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen color as shot by directors Brian Bangs & Spock Buckton (technical director/editor/did almost everything else including co-wrote the script Mike Quasar) for release by 3rd Degree later this month. This was an advanced screener copy with the words "Screening Purposes Only" on the entire movie so I hope to update it when the non-adulterated version comes in for review. Otherwise, the movie looked exceptionally clear, the lighting a nice upgrade from the generic porn that Mike usually directs, the levels of grain quite minimal, and even the impromptu paparazzi segments starring folks like Lisa Ann, Mike Quasar himself, and Joanna Angel to name a few, looking much like the mainstream show upgraded. The video bitrate hovered around the 3.9 Mbps area when I spot checked it, varying considerably but always looking pretty solid, the footage apparently caught by a single camera and edited to provide a realistic manner (used by reality shows and action dramas alike). There was no attempt to polish this one up and give it a glossy, overproduced look either, the resulting heat enhanced more often than not as a result. The editing was up there with my favorite sitcums of the year so I hope it gets a nod come nomination time, the visual package selling the production much more than I expected it would. The audio was presented in a barebones monaural 1.0 Dolby Digital English, using a 192 Kbps bitrate and 48 kHz sampling rate, the aural qualities suiting the show more than some of the other comedies of the year. At least when the audio is structured this way, you know what you're getting and not some over produced stereo that was a product of the post production process (little porn is shot in true stereo, none in 5.1 surround despite what you may be told). My overall assessment of the technical factors allows me to say that Mike did a fantastic job here and deserved the attendant accolades.

Body of Review: When you think of a gonzo company like 3rd Degree, you probably automatically think of their high production values, their attempts to put the hottest women in their fuck flicks, and the amount of fuck for your buck provided but I was surprised today when I opened my mail to find something off the beaten track from the company, an advanced copy of TMSleaze A XXX Parody. As one of the most vocal supporters of the sitcum/porn parody craze that has literally swept the industry thanks in no small part to the excellent work of the folks at X-Play, I also tend to be among the most critical when things aren't well done and this being the first title by directors Brian Bangs & Spock Buckton making it my way (I'm looking forward to picking up their first title soon), I sat right down having cleared my schedule. I know the guy responsible for the technical elements and much of the comedy was the infamous Mike Quasar so I figured Spock and Brian were in good hands but I really wanted to see just how entertaining the movie would be and how it compared to the wealth of parodies flooding the market from companies such as Hustler. The quick version of this advance review is that I found this to be one of the funniest sitcums of the year, the mocking of the often lame TMZ show quite appropriate but the sex among the best in this genre that I've had the chance to appreciate. That the guys didn't blow their wads with lame lines, poorly scripted scenarios, or piss poor props helped elevate them within spitting distance of the X-Play efforts, the dynamic a lot different but the results adding tremendous replay value and strokability to the show. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested, but minimal spoilers so those of you wanting to appreciate the humor won't need to skip this review like you will with the others that follow:

Brynn Taylor with James Deen

Scene One: Francesca Le, Tori Black, Ben English, and Anthony Rosano were up first as the pornified judges of American Idol as well as television personality "Ryan Seacrest" run amuck in the back room of the show. Francesca was the wild one here and while she looked nothing like "Paula Abdul", she was the highlight of the scene for me. Tori also looked really cute compared to the preferred womanly curves of her peer though, the two ladies offering a lot to anyone into babes. Francesca was the most sexually aggressive this time, Tori getting in on the action fairly well too, both ladies fucking and sucking as though trying to milk the men dry. Ben's wig was hilarious and his comments towards getting Tori to shut her yap making me rewind a few times as friends came in during the review being written. The gals did not ignore each other sexually but the main thrust of the action was the chemistry and passion they provided with their male partners, Ben doing Francesca while Anthony drilled Tori silly, the ladies sweating as profusely as the men, helping make the scene even more appealing to me for the realism. The scene closed out when the men unleashed their genetic juice on the faces of the gals, the heat of the scene making it well worth checking out but the humor adding something too. Yes!

Scene Two: Faye Reagan, the red headed, freckle faced hotty seen on the lower left hand corner of the cover, was up next as a pornified version of Lindsay Lohan, finding out she was pregnant thanks to the efforts of Mr. Pete (as Eminem clone "Feminem"). She gave him an ultimatum and he complied with her wishes, Dane Cross "getting in on this" to give her two cocks to play with. Okay, I admit that Faye was a distant second to Penny Flame's version of the actress but the lines were cute enough ("I don't want twins..." lol) and she was also a sexual dynamo. The men allowed her to slob their knobs and titty fuck them, Faye riding cock vaginally and anally as though she were working it for an award. The recording studio setting (an editing bay?) was a nice touch here and the men truly put her through her paces, Faye rewarding them by continuing her sexual aggressiveness to milk their nuts dry of population pudding. Nice!

Scene Three: Brynn Tyler, the hotty blond featured on the upper right hand corner of the cover, was up next as Heidi Montag, partnered up with James Deen, who was playing Spencer Pratt. Whatever you think about the show "The Hills", Brynn was definitely high in the running for the "hottest babe of the movie" spot, her curvy figure and beautiful face enough to launch a few loads all by themselves. In terms of inspirational material, the oral and vaginal screwing the two engaged in were strong enough to merit a nod from me as some of her best recent work, the lines tossed in to keep them in character pretty amusing as well. She took the mouth pop well enough too but it was her chemistry with James (whose wig was as funny as the one Ben wore) and levels of energy that made the scene work for me. Comedy-wise, it wasn't the best scene of the flick but I admit to having limited knowledge of the couple's mainstream versions so your mileage may vary.

Andi Anderson with Mark Wood and Rocco Reed

Scene Four: Kagney Linn Karter, another total hotty blond in the show, was up next as a pornified version of Jessica Simpson, jumping the bones of Chris "Tony Romo" Johnson in a locker room. Her country garb was sexy as all get out and he played the football pansy amusingly well (as "Boney Homo"), her white lingerie making her ass look incredibly sexy. I've touted Kagney as one of the top babes of the year to various directors and not met one yet that disagreed with my assessments, the cutie sucking pecker as though a truly seasoned cowgirl with a need for seed. The messy hummer aside, her big tits were sadly overlooked in favor of him banging her tight pussy, the shaven snatch looking quite tight as the labia tried to milk him dry. She looked into his eyes for most of the scene too, elevating their levels of personal chemistry, her repeated taste testing eventually leading to a mouth pop.

Scene Five: Ann Marie Rios, playing a sexy cop in a tight uniform, then pulled over a drunken Randy "Smell Fibsen" Spears, his tirade about Jews a comic version of the impromptu tape that nearly ruined mainstream actor Mel Gibson awhile back. The pornified version had the star struck Ann taking full advantage of her authoritative position to get some sweet loving from Randy too, his ability to stay in character tested to the max as she stripped to reveal her smoking hot body. Ann dropped to her knees to inhale his modest cock and Randy held her hair like a gentleman, the night time traffic stop setting an interesting place to shoot a scene. He banged her really hard, as she wanted, and she pushed back to meet his thrusts, the active vaginal ride and stream of dirty talk by the gal certainly a solid scene for the raincoaters crowd. The scene ended too soon for my tastes but at least it showed Ann blowing him to completion, jerking and sucking his load right out of him. Whew!

Scene Six: Andi Anderson, the blond seen on the lower middle of the front cover, was up last as "Titney Shears" the gal lounging out by her pool while pool cleaners Mark Wood and Rocco Reed talked her down from calling the police. This was another clip where the humor was not up to par though, thankfully relying on the sexual heat of the now-retired Andi as she masturbated using a Waterproof Pure from Evolved Novelties, Rocco assisting her before Mark joined the pair (Star Wars geeks might appreciate his stab at humor too). Fans of ladies eating bananas will also appreciate how well she engulfed one suggestively, her red panties offering scant protection from Rocco's vibratory assault. Andi then blew Mark and followed up with Rocco's rod, the men soon taking turns screwing her pussy and ass, culminating in a short DP. That continued until Andi got on her knees to suck them off one last time, her motto of "oops, I blew them again" impressed on their minds as she laid back down in her chair; Ann Marie coming to the rescue.

Summary: TMSleaze A XXX Parody by directors Brian Bangs, Spock Buckton & Mike Quasar for 3rd Degree reminded me that a little bit of creativity combined with technical know-how, and a great cast of ladies can break the mold of what is expected, this advance copy earning a rating of Highly Recommended (borderline Xcritic Pick if the final version fleshes out the extras and removes the script plaguing my copy). Sure, I would have liked to see Lisa Ann's clip expanded on or Joanna Angel to get a full fledged chunk of action but there was no doubt in my mind that the directors have struck gold once again. In short, TMSleaze A XXX Parody was fun, fucking hot, and managed to craft a lot of humor out of a variety of events taking place in the pseudo celebrity world like no other sitcum I've reviewed has achieved to date, I suspect upcoming reviews from "the other guys" likely to mirror many of my sentiments over coming weeks so pick up a copy at the end of the month when it comes out, but feel free to get a decent idea of what it has to offer via the clips I linked to in my screen captures.
