Extras: While the cast list was the most helpful extra (especially for the seventh scene), the best extra for most folks will be the 17:16 minute long bonus blowjob scene between Francesca Le, Jonni Darkko, and Winston Burbank. The bulk of the extras were included on the second disc, a relative rarity in and of itself for Jonni to offer fans, the best of those other than the BBJ scene already mentioned was the 42:24 minute long Behind the Scenes feature giving Francesca and company some room to describe what was going on. Audio/Video Quality: F For Francesca was presented in a very crisp 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Jonni Darkko for Evil Angel. Of all Jonni's efforts since I've known him, his series of "alphabet titles" as it is often referred to, is the most predictably excellent in the gonzo world outside of specialty niches. The lighting was solid and the composition of the scenes exceptional, the editing by talented Eddie Powell adding to the presentation too. The fleshtones were generally accurate and the style Jonni usually offers up was cut back ever so slightly to incorporate the HD look of his subjects, the level of detail boosted by the 480 Mbps video bitrate I saw when spot checking the MPEG-2 encoded production. The audio was presented in a standard 2.0 Dolby Digital English using a 48 kHz sampling rate and 192 Kbps aural bitrate, the music heavy audio mixed into the vocals fairly well but not as pleasing for me as the visual elements were handled. Still, as music is Jonni's first and foremost love, if you enjoy the thumping bass he enjoys so much, this will be off the charts for you to appreciate.

Body of Review: Jonni Darkko is one of the few men in porn truly in tune with how the aural experience can enhance the usual focus of visual stimulation in porn, his best works still released by Evil Angel. While winning all sorts of fans and critical acclaim, the director has been one of the very best in the business with regard to his showcase efforts on established performers, his latest such movie called F For Francesca. The young lady in question is no other than Francesca Le herself, a long time performer and director who embraces her darker side in all sorts of perverted ways in the fuck flick, the seven scenes lasting over three hours (not including the bonus blowjob scene or extensive related extras). As a long time fan of the lady and the manner in which Jonni presents ladies in the series, I fully believed he would hit a home run with this one, the likelihood of him doing anything less given the extensive amount of time devoted to the project (over 18 months according to Francesca Le in the BTS). My only real criticism is that the cover advertised "All Scenes Are Anal!" and two of the seven were oral only, another anal-heavy but lesbian, and the bonus scene not in compliance. To make it better I think some of the scenes could have added in some of the top fetish sex tricks too but frankly I found this to be a fine career capper for the lady, rating it as Highly Recommended or better (and wondering why Empire refused to sell it).
