Overview: This is an update to my original review of Forked, which I viewed as an advance screener. I was super-excited to see how the whole thing worked out on DVD. Well, I'm here to tell you that it worked out great! I'm going to deviate from my usual method of reviewing here. If you want the blow-by-blow descriptions of the action (and even more naughty pictures), check my original review which is linked above.

Forked is a tasty new concept in adult entertainment. One part cooking show, one part dinner party, one part hardcore sex. Those are the ingredients that are thrown into the Forked melting pot. What cooks up is a fantastic porno-potluck. Let me run through the different ways you can bite into this dish.

• You can check it out online as a series of different scenes which run from about 20 minutes to over an hour. If you do that, then you watch each group of chefs heat things up in the kitchen and then see their sizzling sex scenes!

• Option two is to just watch the cast's informative, and usually hilarious, kitchen antics on Youtube.

• The third way of viewing is the DVD, and in my opinion, it is the best way! With the DVD you can watch this as a double-disc feature. That's helpful because the whole thing is about 4 1/2 hours long. The real key is that you can select chapters from the menu - which jumps you directly to the hardcore action, without the kitchen banter, for those times you just want things to get hot and steamy in the bedroom. In addition to menu-selectable chapter selections, there are key chapter stops built-in which allow you to jump forward in time during the kitchen scenes, in case you are trying to find specific instructions on how to cook a certain dish or get to one of the performers' key moments of dialog.

Now, you are probably asking yourself "Who in the hell wants to watch 2+ hours of cooking to see someone get laid?" Yeah, I asked myself that last year too. Turns out, I did! I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. It's new, it's innovative, it breaks the porno mold, and the whole concept baked up nicely. The casting of this show (and let's be clear, it is a show) is just phenomenal! The shooting of this show is absolutely top notch. Yes, they are really cooking and it is shot just like those TV shows that run 24 hours a day on that cable channel. There are whole set shots, overhead stove shots, closeup food shots, and the ubiquitous eating delicious food shots. The same thing goes for the hot sex scenes that take place outside of the kitchen. As I mentioned, they really are cooking for a lot of people on this show, so no sex takes place in the kitchen!

Final Thoughts: This is one of those rare adult films that you feel like every performer on set is having the time of their lives and would do the whole thing again in a heartbeat. Whether they are whipping something up together in the kitchen or romping elsewhere in the house, the smiles never leave their faces. It's a great combination of hilarity, instructional video, and amazing sex.

Disc 1 features Jenevieve and Cristi getting it on in the foyer, Alison and Dick banging in the bedroom, with a climactic threesome involving Mercedes, Marcus, and Tony going down in the living room.

Disc 2 features Mercedes and Mia sharing Damon's dick in an award nominated performance, followed by him giving Leya an absolutely astounding romping.

The title is squarely aimed at couples and the discs are laid out in a manner that allows build up time, playtime, and cool down time between the bouts of hardcore banging. The only thing this disc set is missing is Leya Falcon's F-bomb Meter that you can watch on Youtube, which is hilarious! There are just so many great ways to enjoy this tastiness now, that I would be remiss not to upgrade my initial rating of Highly Recommended to XCritic Pick. It's obvious how much time, effort, and thought were put into this new concept. That dedication garnered this flick eight award nominations from XBIZ 2017, and it snagged two of them!
