In between the five sex scenes that make up the feature are some clips of various people wandering around the Miami Beach area, but they don't have much to do with the sex that makes up the bulk of this release. Seeing as that's what we're all here for, here's a rundown of who fucks who and who they do it:

Barely Legal Miami Girls looks good in this 1.78.1 anamorphic widescreen transfer. There aren't any issues at all with compression artifacts or edge enhancement while color reproduction looks. Eagle-eyed viewers may spot just a hint of shimmer here and there but you do have to be looking for it to notice it. Generally though the image is clean, clear, stable and well balanced.

Sound:

The sole audio track on this DVD is a Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo Surround Sound mix in English. The audio on this release is fine. Dialogue stays clean and clear throughout and the levels are all properly balanced. The score sounds good and there aren't any problems with background hiss or distortion at all. The audio here won't blow you away but it certainly won't disappoint you either.

Extras:

The only really substantial extra on this release is a Behind The Scenes (13:36) featurette. It features interviews with three of the girls from the feature - Kara Novak, Eva Ellington and Nikki Sexton - each of whom talks about their likes and dislikes and their careers. There's no extra nudity or sex footage in here, nor is there actually any behind the scenes footage really, it's just some bland interviews. Aside from that, there's also a quick, five minute documentary that gives a very brief history of the infamous Barely Legal series of movies entitled Barely Legal: How It All Began, which has been included on all of the recent releases in the line.

Motion menus, trailers, a still gallery, contact info, and scene selection round out the supplements on this release. All of the extras are presented in standard definition.

Final Thoughts:

The girls are nice looking and are definitely having fun here, which is always a plus, but this is really just an average entry in Hustler's longest running and most infamous series. The Miami locations used between scenes don't really add to much or help to differentiate it much and the sex scenes, since they're all inside, might as well have been shot in New Jersey. The quality of the release is on par with the others, and fans of the series will no doubt want to add Barely Legal - Miami Girls to their collection, everyone else can consider this a solid rental.
