Extras: The best extra was the 21.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Charles Dickens. Audio/Video Quality: Asswhole 3 was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was shot in by director Pat Myne for 3rd Degree. The lighting was very good (most of the time) and this limited the grain, video noise and other potential flaws right from the starting gate. I saw no compression artifacts or video noise, making this a nice looking set of 5 scenes. The 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo audio was okay but like most gonzo movies, there was little to discuss other than the limited moans, groans, and dirty talk were just fine, if uneventful in most scenes once more. I spot checked the Spanish audio track but the dubbing left something to be desired and really didn't provide me with a lot of additional value.

Body of Review: Danny Case (or Pat Myne, depending on which name of his you prefer) has been criticized in the past by some of the critics who simply don't understand his style of directing a porn scene. His basic way of handling scenes is to offer up a lot of tease, great outfits, and talented performers who follow his instructions in order to get him off. Rather than the dispassionate directors who often aren't even on location, he takes great pains to control all aspects of the scene but still allows his performers enough room to do what gets them excited, making for some very strokable material with great replay value. His recent work for Third Degree has proven to be better than average and his latest flick is Asswhole 3, a series of anally themed scenes using some of the best ladies in porn as his focal points used to get the audience off. Here's a look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used and keeping in mind how no scene was a filler scene to me:

In short, Asswhole 3 had a whole lot of ass worth checking out in scenes that provided some serious replay value over the long haul, giving a lot of value to the DVD as a whole but also to the individual scenes.
