Audio/Video Quality: The Flying Pink Pig 2 was presented in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Erica McLean for Metro/Cal Vista/ Cheeky Monkey. While the cover stated it was shot in high definition, the actual resolution was 720p and then it was down converted to this standard definition offering but frankly, the end result was pretty clear and crisp all the same. The editing was definitely choppy at times, almost as if the show was going for a rougher look, but the lighting was decent and the camera work seemed pretty solid, the composition of the camera angles enhancing the look of the ladies in most cases (despite some cramped quarters for fucking). The flesh tones were accurate and I saw few compression artifacts or video noise, the video bitrate hovering around the 5.2 Mbps when I spot checked the screener copy that came in for review. The audio was offered up in a Dolby Digital 2.0 with a 48 kHz sampling rate and 224 Kbps. There was no discernable separation in the channels and some outside noises were present at times, pretty much what was expected with some over the top special effects that provided some cheese factor.

Body of Review: Erica McLean is best known for her work on the Hustler Barely Legal series both with and without her deceased husband. These days, she appears to be a travelling director for hire, picked up by Metro for certain key projects to revive their status as a player in the industry. Her latest movie is called The Flying Pink Pig 2, so named after a gimmick-based roach coach found in the southern California area. Most working class people are familiar with the catering company meals on wheels that populate urban areas, typically found near construction sites and areas where people grab a quick bite during lunch before going back to work. The first movie follows a generic plot where an evil moneyman (Ron Jeremy) tries to horn in on the action of a young entrepreneur (Sunny Lane), the outcome as predictable as the level of acting and technical work. This sequel furthers the plotted elements from the first, upgrading by using lovely Alexis Texas as the sexual headliner yet maintaining the connection with Sunny Lane too. Here’s a very brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Sunny Lane, a hotty as fresh now as ever, was up first in bed with sexy MILF Nicki Hunter, their lesbian tryst in bed including a lot of oral by both of them and some toys to round out their heated enjoyment. Summary: The Flying Pink Pig 2 by director Erica McLean for Metro was another cute, low budget feature with enough appeal to merit a rating of Rent It for its target audience of couples and women. In short, The Flying Pink Pig 2 had some entertainment value and as weak as the plotted elements were, I expected more in the way of extras given a second disc was included for them. It wasn’t like the video bitrate of the first disc was so high that it couldn’t handle the minimal extras, the basic aspects of the production kind of modest compared to similar efforts by other companies.
