Overview:  Hustler’s Barely Legal series is one of the longest running titles with over 100 volumes to date.  A few years ago, Hustler introduces us to Barely Legal Baby Fat, which starred Emma Cummings, who has since disappeared from the industry.  Nevertheless, the debut volume garnered some impressive scenes as reviewed by a fellow XCritic writer.  This time around, the cast for Baby Fat 2 looks very promising as the lovely Topanga Fox is featured on the DVD cover.  In addition to Fox, Emma Heart, Katie Kox, Angelica Raven, and Karina Lua round up the disc.

Topanga Fox opens the flick with a cheesy workout scenario with boyfriend, Jenner.  The scenario goes on for a few minutes, that is until Fox finds comfort in getting her box fingered and eaten by Jenner.  A generous amount of time is spent on Fox by Jenner, which is a nice switch of pace. Fox reciprocates the favor with a sloppy blowjob and light titty fucking.  The foreplay is followed with Fox riding Jenner in reverse cowgirl.  The action is consistent but relies heavily on Fox, as Jenner remains idle for the most part.  Jenner’s performance improves as he fucks Fox doggystyle, which she appears to enjoy more favorably.  The scene reaches its third act in missionary position, with Fox taking Jenner’s pipe and finishing the scene strongly.  The pop shot is awkwardly done on a Reese’s candy that Fox does or doesn’t eat.

The young and slutty Emma Heart follows and continues the workout theme of Baby Fat.  Surprisingly, the banter between Heart and Patrick Knight is believable, but falls flat of being entertaining.  Heart blows Knight out of spite and the scene gets underway.  The blowjob is minimal and the male performer spends more time on fingering and eating Heart.  The sex abruptly begins with Heart riding cowgirl alongside the outdoor pool.  Heart is a performer that enjoys hardcore sex and that’s exactly what she aims for.  Heart flips over and pounds her tight pussy and fat ass on Knight, who does his best to keep up with Heart.  There’s a specific shot that director Jimmy D captures, in which we are intimately close with Heart and are able to imagine the intensity of the sex.  The scene continues with some brief doggystyle and a pop shot onto Heart’s chest and face.

Angelica Raven, a busty brunette who happens to be self-conscious about her body stars with John West.  The overweight theme begins to get tiresome, but luckily doesn’t last long and Raven gets down to business.  Raven loses her top and gives West a blowjob.  A portion of the blowjob is shot over the shoulder and gives the viewer a sense of POV.  The knobjob leads to Raven climbing on top of West and riding him in cowgirl position.  The action lacks the passion of previous scenes and is heavily edited, which suggest West was not up to par on the day of the shoot.  However, watching Raven fuck in reverse cowgirl is a good enough reason to watch, especially for fans of big jugs.  As the scene progresses, Raven performs most of the work, even in doggy, and hints at the caliber of performances she’s capable of, given the right costar.  The scene ultimately ends on a high note and has West unloading his nut juice on Raven’s tits.

Karina Lua is a curvy Latina and is saved for last and paired with John Henry.  The scene touches briefly on the theme, but for the most part, rushes into the action.  Lua and Henry are heavy on the foreplay and take their time, which might cause some viewers to hit the fast-forward button.  It doesn’t take much for Lua to get off, as Henry fingers her briefly and she creams within moments of getting fingered.  Henry opts out of the blowjob and instead begins reaming Lua via doggystyle.  The chemistry between Lua and Henry looks to be genuine, as this might be Lua’s first scene and gives it all she’s got.  There are several instances where you can visibly see Lua enjoying the sex and looking sexy simultaneously.  The incredibly intimate and passionate sex continues ‘til the final moments and ultimately ends with Henry unloading on Lua as she continues to play with herself.

Special Features:  A five minute extra chronicling the inception of the Barely Legal series.  The extra is old and dated and has been included on dozens of Barely Legal titles, but is worth a watch if you have never come across it.  The other worthwhile extra is the ten minute behind the scenes feature, which begins with Topanga Fox being interviewed on set.  Each girl reveals a little about themselves, but the most interesting interview is with Karina Lua.  Lua indeed confirms that Barely Legal: Baby Fat 2 is her first on screen appearance, and reveals additional bits of facts about herself that are worth hearing, especially if you enjoyed her scene.  Six additional Hustler trailers are included, as well as a Hustler Hollywood, Hustler.com, and phone sex commercial.  A photo gallery is also included for those interested.

Audio/Video Quality:  Audio is presented in Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo and is consistently strong throughout the presentation.  The camera mounted microphone is able to capture all vocal tones without processing any artifacts throughout the shoot.  Hustler is an industry-leading company and one would expect top notch video quality, but Barely Legal: Baby Fat 2 is rough on the edges.  Colors, lighting, and flesh tones are fairly accurate and well presented, but the editing style of Rico Che is somewhat crude and ultimately disturbs the flow of the scene[s] with fast cuts and inappropriate timing.  The editing style is non-noticeable to the casual viewer, but porn connoisseurs will take notice.

Final Thoughts:  Barely Legal: Baby Fat 2 is a thoroughly entertaining flick with several curvy starlets.  Topanga Fox graces the cover and sets the stage for a great skin flick with her opening scene.  The disc has a well-rounded cast that includes established performers and a newcomer making her debut.  The Jimmy D. production could have been polished a bit more, but given his previous work for Sin City, his commitment to quality isn’t up to par with other Hustler directors.  Nevertheless, fans of curvy girls owe it to themselves to give Barely Legal: Baby Fat 2 a spin in their DVD player.  Although production quality is questionable, the performances are genuine and electric.  Recommended
