The Movie:

There's not a lot of plot to this one – essentially Kenzie Ryan plays a rich bitch who enters into a dreamlike world of fetishistic eroticism, and in turn acts out her fantasies. Kenzie is a drop dead gorgeous blonde who fucks with no small amount of vigor, and Ninn's camera captures her in action in Diamond Girl.

Chapter 1 – It takes eleven minutes to get here but the first scene is Kenzie fingering herself wearing nothing but a leopard print hat. She gets on top of him and rides him for a while, then lays back on the bed for some tried but true missionary style fun. Michael Ninn has been doing this long enough that the man knows how to make a porno film look good. Diamond Girl is no exception and his blend of cyberpunk visuals and fetishistic sex looks quite good on this digital video production. Some of the colors are intentionally muted and flat looking but this is a stylistic choice and not a fault of the transfer. Print damage and video noise is not an issue and while there is some mild compression evident in some of the blacker areas, for the most part this movie looks quite good.

Sound:

The English Dolby Digital 2.0 Sound mix features no subs or alternate audio tracks but does come through the receiver clearly and without any problems. Bass response from the subwoofer is lively and active and the background music has just enough punch to it to liven up the sex scenes even more than they already are.

Extras:

In addition to the standard photo gallery, there is also a behind the scenes featurette that doesn't really have any dialogue or narration but does contain some fun outtakes and nice footage of the girls off camera.

Final Thoughts:

If you appreciate Michael Ninn's bizarre sexual world, you'll dig Diamond Girl. While he may not be breaking any really new ground, he does here what he has done so well in many of his other films – provides a slick looking feature with unusually cold and clinical sex scenes in a dreamlike setting that somehow manage to be very hot at the same time. Recommended.
