Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in 1.33:1 ratio full frame, the current industry standard for porn. Aside from some lighting effects and areas with minor grain, the picture looked very clear with no artifacts noticed. The audio was presented with the usual choices by Private and I chose the English stereo track. The vocals were dubbed and the music had a light jazz feel to them with a decent mix between the two.

Body of Review: Private has always been one of the frontrunners in the porn world with a diverse variety of series to address pretty much what any fan would want to see in a porno. From their fetish lines to the features, from the compilations to the raincoater specials, and everything in between, the company does a good job of finding attractive women who'll have hardcore sex in front of the camera for your viewing pleasure. In their latest releases, Deep Obsessions: Private X-treme 8, Private sets up the background of a mental patient (played by David Perry) attempting to overcome his insatiable sexual appetites and rejoin the real world. Along the way, we get to see a number of his fantasies with some hot women. Here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast and sexual activity:

Scene One: Mandy, one of the best known porn performers in the world due to her seductive good looks and pleasant attitude towards sexual enjoyment, teased the camera for awhile in the pool before climbing onto a massage table for David. He jerked her off and orally pleased her before she returned the favor. The two then screwed vaginally and anally before he popped in her mouth.

Scene Two: Lara, a brunette with a lean body and nice curves, took on both David and Zenza with some foot fetish action in a living room. No hole of hers went unused and eventually they DP'ed her, showing a long hang time on the gape, before she took their loads in her mouth. It was a warm scene.

Scene Three: Sandra, a gal with more tattoos than almost anyone in porn, had a solo scene where she teased the camera as she masturbated. It was erotic but too short for my tastes.

Scene Four: Stacy, a lean blonde with a curvy body, and one of the guys, Nick, had a scene in a shower. She was enthusiastic and the two had some energetic fun with the oral, vaginal and anal sex.

Scene Five: Sarah, a cutie with a long mane of hair, and Mick, had a scene around a pool too. It was erotic in nature but also included all the basics, including anal, along with a bit of spanking and rougher sex before it ended with a load dropped in her mouth.

Scene Six: Sandra, sporting a closely cropped head of hair but a great ass, and David, had a scene by a lake outdoors. There was a lot of oral going on before the anal and straight sex. It wasn't bad but seemed a bit mechanical to me.

Scene Seven: This was the orgy scene that included Nikita, Moonlight, and Jennyfer, taking on Franco and Zenza on a couch. The sex got pretty wild but not as extreme as Private is known for. It had pretty much everything you'd expect of the company, including anal and a DP. Whew!

Summary: The Private X-Treme series is a pretty solid one from the examples I've seen, including this volumes and Volume 6: Calling A Gigolo. The women are almost always top notch and the technical values exceptionally good. Except for some artistic choices, I can see why so many fans have told me to rate these high. In the case of this one, I'm giving it a Recommended although I could see why some fans might think of it on even more favorable terms. It has some great production values and I look forward to seeing other volumes in the series soon.
