The Movie:

Vivid releases a rather strange but erotic movie with their DVD Hold
Still.  This is something odd in the world of adult movies, a
physchological thriller that turns out to be a sci-fi porno flick.

Sunrise Adams starts as Amy, a woman who is being controlled by her
domineering boyfriend, Frank.  In the opening scene he jacks off onto
her leg and then he orders her to go out, find a guy, and jack him off
on her other leg.  The next day, Frank tells her to find the guy she
jacked off, but this time she has to fuck him.  Amy does that, but
she's not happy about it.

The movie takes a strange turn when it's revealed that the stranger
she's been screwing is in communications with aliens from anther galaxy.
The man asks his extraterrestrial friends to help him locate the girl he's
fallen in love with.

This was a pretty good movie, if a bit odd.  The sex scenes were
very good, though they were pretty standard.  All of the scenes were one on one straight sex, with no
anal or lesbian scenes.  One of the things that I enjoyed about this
movie was that the sex actually worked in the context of the plot.
It wasn't a case of just throwing some sex in.  The sex scenes aren't
overly long either.  Often times the director will create a really
long scene just to make the running time longer, but that wasn't the case
with this film.

Of the five sex scenes, the gorgeous and buxom Sunrise is featured in
three, while Layla Jade and Kimberly Kane each have one.  All three
girls seemed to get into the sex, but Sunrise was definitely in the hottest
scenes.

Audio/Video:

The full frame video looked pretty good.  There was some digital
artifacts, mainly aliasing, but it didn't distract from the action.
The two channel audio sounded very good, with no distortion or noise.

Extras:

There are five bonus scenes from other Vivid DVDs included on this disc.
Three feature Sunshine Adams, one has Jordan Haze, and the last one stars
Karina.  All of these, save the last one are straight one-on-one scenes.
Karina has sex with two men in her scene.

There is also a gallery of Sunrise Adams photos, one featuring production
stills from the film.  The ten minute behind the scenes featurette
had a an interesting interview with the director along with some candid
footage on the set.  A nice set of extras.

Final Thoughts:

This is a good movie for couples.  There isn't any weird or kinky
sex, and the plot gives the sex scenes a little edge.  Sunrise did
a great job, looking very attractive and playing her role well.  A
different type of movie, but it all comes together and works.  Recommended.
