Extra's: One of the "extra" I really hated was the repeated inclusion of spam at the beginning of the DVD. Being forced to watch commercials for erectile dysfunction crud and phone sex crap has long bothered me about Vivid's DVDs. I wouldn't mind it so much if they were tucked away on the disc but you can't skip them and they take forever (especially when you're reviewing a lot of Vivid movies) so be warned. Otherwise, the DVD had some solid extras starting with five bonus scenes (Dasha was in three of them) from other releases. I also really liked the 25 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Ralph Parfait and Victoria R. Woodhill as it spent a lot of time with the cast and crew (Nikki masturbating was hot). There were also a couple of photogalleries, some trailers, a positions room, a Dasha biography, and a double sided DVD cover.

Audio/Video Quality: Panty Raid was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color, as originally shot by Paul Thomas. I haven't had a lot of luck with his movies of late since they've been artsy, shot on film (or made to look it), and grainy as all heck but this one generally looked really good most of the time. I knew my perseverance would eventually pay off! In any case, the composition of the angles and scenes were generally very well done and a credit to his abilities with minimal grain and video noise getting in the way of the action. I saw no compression artifacts either and the colors were solid at all times. The stereo English of the audio wasn't bad with a bit of separation and some dynamic range; not your typical dreck (Vivid can do so well one moment and so poorly the next that I wonder how it all happens sometimes). In any case, the technical matters were never a negative factor in this movie, increasing my pleasure a lot.

Body of Review: Dasha, the lean blonde porn star from the Czech Republic, has long been a staple in porn with her long legs, pretty face, and ability to take anal with a smile (and grunt). When she retired from porn a while back, she made what was billed as a final tour on the strip club circuit to give fans a farewell they wouldn't forget. Her first movie for Vivid on her comeback is Panty Raid, a lighthearted romp with little but sex going on other than the guys stealing their mates' panties afterward. At first, I thought the movie was going to suck (in a bad way) but upon watching the action, I quickly changed my mind and thought nice thoughts about whoever was in charge. Here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action:

Scene One: Nikki, an extremely hot brunette with an all natural body and a sexual attitude shared by far too few of her colleagues, put on some sexy lingerie to please her man, Steven, in the bathroom. Granted, her skin tight blue jeans were hot too but the butt floss and camisole really worked for me as well. In any case, she rubbed her ass into his crotch and then gave him a swell blowjob as she warmed him up. He then hammered away at her tight pussy, with her dripping wet juices falling down her leg as a result. After several positions, it ended with a pop shot but the energy and chemistry were very good here.

Scene Two: Dasha, now back to making porn for Vivid after having "retired" to the Czech Republic with boyfriend Dillion Day, was the lead blonde on the front DVD cover. Scene Five: Kayla, a very cute gal with brown hair and a lean body, stayed inside when taking care of Vincent rather than joining Dasha and Tommy outside. The other gals were actually better sexually here (surprisingly I might add) as they gave solid performances with plenty of heat and chemistry. With some of the best production values I've seen in a Vivid movie in some time, there was easily enough quality to give the movie a rating of Recommended, although another scene might've pushed it one notch higher (I'm big on amount of fuck for the buck and the extras need to be crafted solely for the movie to get full credit). If you enjoy the listed cast, you're going to really like the movie, just as I did.
