Audio/Video Quality: Sisterhood was presented in a crisp anamorphic widescreen offering as shot by director Jakodema for Digital Playground. Sir Richard Manwin III, Mark Nicholson, and Billy Visual were credited with working cameras, Not Nick P XXX and Evulatheng handling editing, and a large group of others providing their own technical assistance such as Kylie Ireland and Andy Appleton handling Art Direction. There was a lot of texture and variation of lighting, like a “real” series instead of a porno with warehouse lighting, making it visually more appealing though some of the trysts could have used more lighting (my preference). The aural qualities by Seth Cardigan were modest but presented in a post production added 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround, the elevated bit rate of 448 Kbps not hurting the ability to hear the vocals, some pretty good music included though it wasn’t credited to anyone.

Body of Review: Digital Playground has long stood out as one of the biggest feature porn producers in the industry, popular director Jakodema coming out with a web series last fall called Sisterhood, now released on a double disc set. The show had eight episodes of varying lengths and continued the company’s series format, the starlets including Dani Daniels, AJ Applegate, Maddy O’Reilly, and Keisha Grey. There were some limited feature elements concerning the sorority theme with frisky young hotties doing all sorts of sexual acts to gain entry to the popular group but overall, it was focused mostly on the sex for those who enjoyed it as it aired weekly late last year. Perhaps the best way to think of it would be throwing in all the usual sorority stereotypes via Hollywood’s “Neighbors” from last year, and add in a liberal amount of “Shane’s World” to come out with this arousing adventure.

The back cover said: “The ladies of sorority Delta Pi Chi just moved into the neighborhood and the community is not thrilled! The sexual trysts were fairly basic but at least some credible attempt was made to provide the kind of drama one might see on a night time soap opera, the performers doing a capable job in most cases of working with the material the director provided them with, meaning the feature elements worked at least as well as the sexual aspects of the flick. Portions of the movie resembled last year’s Hollywood flick “Neighbors” and other parts borrowed heavily from many other previous flicks but it was fun to watch no matter what the plotted elements were. In short, Sisterhood may not have been the most original series released by the company but it had a lot of fuck for the buck, scores of hot young ladies not only having sex but flaunting their sexuality all over the movie in various scenes to make it a winner. I think I would have preferred it if they edited out the episode start and endings (with recaps) to make it a cohesive movie, or at least provide that as a director’s cut alternative version on the discs, but there was a lot here to like and Dani Daniels stole the show time and again from her smoking hot friends so check it out.
