Extras: The extras included a 14:22 minute long Behind the Scenes feature where the cast and Jacky interacted (skipping Dani Daniels and Karla Kush but including everyone else), a “pick your pleasure” menu, a photogallery, trailers, spam, and some company information. The short BTS by Jacky herself was comprised solely of cast interviews, allowing the participants to bandy about ideas related to the production or their careers.

Audio/Video Quality: A Lesbian Romance 2 was presented in a crisp, anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Jacky St. James for New Sensations. Using the talents of renowned Eddie Powell on camera and editor Gabrielle Anex, Jacky applied the technical team much like she does on her other works to get things looking and sounding great. The flesh tones were accurate and the composition of camera angles looked good, the editing as smooth as ever to draw attention away from the technical side so viewers can just enjoy the resulting four vignettes. There was a company watermark on the lower right hand corner of the screen for those who care. The aural components were satisfying too, the music, vocals, and ambient sounds all blended in for a welcome upgrade from the plethora of generic sounding releases I put up with on a weekly basis. As with the visual aspects of the movie, the audio portion was handled nicely, perhaps other companies will start paying more attention too.

Body of Review: Jacky St. James is one of the most popular female directors in porn, her work at New Sensations, earning her the kind of praise few ever achieve in the industry. Her latest release in the “Tales From The Heart” series in for review is called A Lesbian Romance 2, a set of four scenes showing lesbian sex of an erotic kind that couples will appreciate, the first volume of the series garnering some healthy acclaim as well. Going into the movie, there wasn’t a lady I would kick out of bed but I admit that I most looked forward to seeing Dani Daniels, Anikka Albrite, and Kira Noir for this type of production, the others class acts in their better works too. While lacking some of the modest edge from other series by the company, the potential was very high in my estimation, knowing Eddie Powell would certainly do a fine job with the technical aspects.

The back cover said this about the movie: “Abigail's massage takes an erotic turn when she confesses how much she's longed for the touch of a woman. Despite a string of bad luck keeping them apart, Annika and Bree are determined to share an intimate afternoon together. Karla's fantasies turn to reality when her seductive boss makes an unexpected move. Sara begins to question her sexuality when she finds herself unexpectedly tempted by her new found friend.” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Kira Noir, a lean black newcomer from California, was up first opposite Sara Luvv, a curvy Latina hotty with a fine ass. The ladies met online as fans of the great outdoors, becoming unseen friends until Sara’s growing attraction to Kira led to the revelation that “straight” Sara soon fell hard for Kira. They kissed in the contemporary home, each wearing easily removable attire, blowing off the traditional roles to simply enjoy each other on the white couch. Scene Two: Dani Daniels, a gorgeous multi-award winning babe with brilliant eyes, was up next with Karla Kush, an adorable blond from Las Vegas. Anikka came over to Bree’s small loft, each infatuated with one another as they ended up in bed, the limited narrative seeming forced again. Thankfully, both ladies were into the moment and kissed seductively, their tongues meeting and hands lightly caressing as a slow piano centric clip played in the background. Their kissing grew a little more probative and sensual, their clothing soon ditched to grant greater access with no more discussion about bad dates. The ladies went down on each other and engaged in a 69, Anikka’s glorious ass looking as terrific as ever and some foot fetish action included to differentiate the scene from the others. Summary: A Lesbian Romance 2 by director Jacky St. James for New Sensations was a solid set of four lesbian scenes showing attractive gals hooking up with each other romantically, the production earning a strong rating of Recommended for the quality of sexual antics and technical aspects. All eight ladies were very appealing and paired up with appropriate partners, and the technical aspects were as good as always courtesy of the talented crew. In summary, A Lesbian Romance 2 was the latest in the “Tales From The Heart” line that lacks some of the bite of Jacky’s other series but had the kind of “frisky fun factor” playfulness that makes so many of her titles work that fans of couples porn will want to check out.
