Audio/Video Quality: My Evil Stepson was presented in anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Dana Vespoli for Evil Angel. The visual elements this time were again straightforward, the lighting akin to her titles produced for other companies in large part and the editing again seemed more polished at times than it has been. Other than minor issues that did not last, the only extended problem was in the shower scene, the action seen in small glimpses due to the way it was shot, mainly hinted at behind the steamed door and such. The work appeared to be shot with a single camera with fluid panning and a variety of camera angles. There was a company watermark on the lower right hand corner of the screen, but it was not particularly intrusive in most of the scenes, at least for me on my big screen TV. The aural components of the show were basic and not overly distinctive but I could hear the ladies going at it, whispering sexual comments toward one another and otherwise providing some ear candy worth listening to.

Body of Review: Dana Vespoli is one of the most creative directors distributed by Evil Angel, her work garnering acclaim and awards for years now. Her latest movie comes out later this month, a title called My Evil Stepson, the emphasis on role playing in the fauxcest flick allowing it to ride the wave of popular near incest movies as her last release did so well. With a great cast of ladies including Dana herself, Cherie DeVille, Nine Elle, and Sovereign Syre as well as young younger male performers that are still on the rise, I expected a lot out of this one given Dana’s creative mind. The company press release described the action like this: “Kinky Dana Vespoli is all about shattering boundaries, the social restrictions that prevent full examination of sexual truth. She explores the taboo-breaking erotic possibilities of extended-family relationships in “My Evil Stepson,” her new collection of dark vignettes. These provocative, dramatic stories make steamy hard-core scenes boil over with forbidden flavor. This is the director’s second foray into taboo relations. “After ‘My Evil Stepmom Fucked My Ass’ [released in December 2014], I decided to jump into another pseudo incest-type theme with stepsons,” explains Vespoli. “I love the idea of the entitled, bratty, future-Wall Street asshole coming up against an authority figure — in this case, a hot stepmom who is confused by her own feelings of revulsion and attraction. Summary: My Evil Stepson by director Dana Vespoli for Evil Angel was well worth a rating of Recommended to a general audience, perhaps much higher to fans of the fake incest (fauxcest) genre of step family screwing that has taken off in recent years, this title and the “My Evil Stepmom Fucked My Ass” already being bandied about as potential award nominees by folks familiar with Dana’s creative works. The guys looked young enough for their roles and were douchy enough to convey the titular malevolence needed to make the scenes work, the ladies like Dana Vespoli, Cherie DeVille, Sovereign Syre, and Nina Elle addressing their roles exceptionally well too. In short, My Evil Stepson offered four different approaches to the step relation theme that are sure to impress my fellow reviewers and critics, some of the scenes better than others but all of them showing some imagination used to develop their themes so give it a look when it comes out.
