Extra's: The best extra, by far, was the 29.5 minutes of Behind the Scenes footage by Juan Cuba and John Nystrom that gave all the gals a chance to introduce themselves to the camera and home viewer. I like such features, especially when they include sex acts like this one did. The next extra was a pop shot compilation from the scenes here. Frankly, I've never understood the appeal of such things but more companies are including them so someone much be asking for their inclusion. Next up after that was a 5.5 minute long set of photoshoots with the female performers. While far too short for my tastes, I like watching the gals posing far more than the actual photos resulting from these moments. There was also the usual photogallery and set of trailers although I didn't see the advertised director's biography (no big loss, I like Julian just fine but there's probably little I don't know about him that I want to know, if you catch my drift).

Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as originally recorded. The grain was minimal, I saw no compression artifacts, and the flesh tones seemed accurate with only a touch of the edge enhancement a few whiners have complained about in the past. The show was well lit, the camera angles something better than usual (I'm guessing one of the cameramen was responsible), and the editing pretty solid to combine for a decently presented movie. The audio was presented in the usual stereo English but the separation wasn't great and the dynamic range of the audio not exactly earth-shattering with droning music that jarringly started and stopped as though a monkey were at the helm during the remixing. I'd prefer either no music at all or at least something far more subdued than this but you tastes may vary from my own.

Body of Review: At Platinum X Pictures, there are a host of talented directors so it would be easy to get lost in the crowd as a new guy. One of their up-and-comers is a guy known as Julian, the performer-turned director that was once known more as the male boy toy of legendary Jill Kelly than for his sexual stamina and ability. Those days are long gone as the man currently stakes his claim to fame with his directing ability and swordsmanship; not on who his girlfriend is. That's good news for porn fans since he's coming along nicely under the wing of his fellow directors in a nurturing environment designed to advance his skills, with Analgeddon 2 being his latest work. The movie is a series of anal-oriented scenes between various meat-puppets and an attractive cast of cuties, some of which had great sexual skills on display. Rather than rely on a hit or miss approach, I got the feeling that Julian tested the gals out before hiring them since they all did some good work here, an approach that worked well for my purposes. If you like seeing such gals be all that they can be, read the following breakdown of the scenes by cast and action:

Scene One: Lanny, the hot brunette covergal wearing white panties, fishnet stockings and garter with little else but a smile, was first up in the show in a scene with the infamous director, Julian, himself. After a little bit of tease footage to establish all the viewers wanting her, she masturbated until he put his large penis by her mouth. She did what comes naturally with some moderate amount of energy before he returned the favor. They then screwed like happy little bunnies in several positions with him tearing into her tight pussy before the anal action began. To say she can take a cock up her ass easily is sort of like saying I can magically point out the obvious in my reviews; in short, the gal is no stranger to anal sex. I think she got off on working with him during short moments of the scene but they were inconsistent; thankfully, most fans will be satisfied that she looked good giving and taking all he had to offer.

Scene Two: Renee, a very lean brunette with a more weathered look to her, began her scene outdoors where she teased the camera with her shiny black skirt and transparent crop top, masturbating with a vibrator to open herself up for both Frank and Steve. While the lighting would've been better outside, they moved indoors (presumably for the privacy and to keep from getting busted) where she blew them with her usual vigor. While I preferred Lanny's curvy body over this lean, built-for-speed, model, I can't deny that her heated performance was more consistently warm (with her showing more talent). That said, there was also plenty of vaginal and anal sex before the obligatory DP (and DAP-double anal). It can honestly be said that you get your money's worth anytime she comes onscreen and I'm sure many of you at home will be doing just that (repeatedly); coming, that is.

Scene Three: Lisa, a curvy blonde with a perfectly heart-shaped ass, was up next as she masturbated on a couch indoors. While she is quite past her prime (and using too much makeup to cover that fact up-poorly I might add), I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't buy her a drink at a bar, well before closing time too. Her partner for the scene was the irrepressible Mark, a guy who is known for his rougher edged performances as well as his ability to take a lemon and make lemonade when the gals aren't up to par. The scene had oral, straight and anal sex with her showing the talents she has accumulated over the millennia; impressive talents at that. The chemistry between them was minimal but she knew how to milk a nut and look pretty good doing so, giving the scene some decent replay value.

Scene Four: Jayna, a cute little brunette with all the talent in the world, started off by wearing a bikini and short blue skirt during her tease footage in the house. She was stuck with pretty-boy Dale so you know he wouldn't be pushing any of her limits like most of the other guys would've. She looked younger than usual here and the tease footage was at least as good as the sex with him, making it her weakest scene in a long time for me. In the anal, I could almost see him asking for another guy so that he could take one in his backdoor, and her ability to fake the heat couldn't make up for the disinterest he showed while plugging away at her backside. No matter; the other scenes were solidly made and she's always good to look at.

Scene Five: Sophia, a gal with lighter hair that had it pulled back quite a ways, started off her couch scene by sticking a large, semi-transparent anal device up her ass and giving it a cleaning. She's something of an enigma to me; hot one moment (or in one scene) and cool the next so I left it up to Sasha and Marco to make this one of her better scenes to date. For the most part, I wasn't disappointed as she gave some good oral, took their cocks with a measure of gusto in her pussy, and reveled in the anal more than I think I've ever seen her to date. She also had the longest, and strongest, double anal penetration (DAP) of the movie, showing a lot of energy and chemistry throughout the action.

Summary: There was a little bit of ATM/PTM in every scene but I know that fans seem to want a lot of it and might find this release lacking as a result (I disagree with the need for such antics) but overall, only one scene gave less than I'd hoped for so I'm going to rate this one as Recommended with a suggestion that fans of the cast will want to move it up a notch. The women were attractive and skilled, the technical matters solid for the most part, and the extras added plenty of value to the DVD. It's not Julian's best work but it was better than what many of his peers have been making, a fact not lost on me.
