Audio/Video Quality: Official Bounty Hunter Parody 2 was presented in a decent 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Reno for Diabolic Video. The movie did not mimic the original mainstream series very well in terms of composition, lighting, camerawork, or other technical aspects but it did make an attempt to convey a sense of the series dynamic modestly well, pornified as expected but otherwise capably handled. The video bitrate hovered around the 3.8 Mbps mark on the MPEG-2 encoded flick when I spot checked it, the fleshtones accurate and only a bit of edge enhancement noticed on my big screen television, a few areas in need of polishing up in the editing booth not the worst that credited editor "Dane" has handled in the past. There were a variety of shots in the mix here too, not relying on a lot of close ups like some companies do, nor sticking with long shots either, the end result working fairly well to convey a sense of the original at times. The audio was presented in a cleaned up 2.0 Dolby Digital English, the 48 kHz sampling rate and 192 Kbps aural bitrate pretty much a standard at this writing. The vocals were usually clear and the short bits of music fit the show, the production hardly enhanced by the audio tracks but not weakened by them either.

Body of Review: Reno has been in porn awhile now, directing a little for Diabolic Video as he learns his craft. His latest release is called Official Bounty Hunter Parody 2, the sequel to Part One reviewed earlier this year by my friend Vincent. The movie is another attempt to cash in on the recent porn parody phase the industry is going through, this time starring Reno as a big bad muscleman earning a living chasing down bond jumpers. The pornification of the show means that he ends up having sex with nearly the entire cast, occasionally joined by one of his colleagues to expand their horizons. While some make fun of his heavy accent, he looks more comfortable in the role than Craig Valentine did in his Dawg The Booty Hunter when I reviewed it, my biggest interest here being to see how Courtney Cummz, Nika Noir, and Austin Kincaid did in their scenes. The back cover described the movie like this: "If you're on the "most wanted" bad girl list, you're fucked! Prepare to spread 'em wide and get the ass-grinding, pussy-pounding punishment of your life from our XXXpert cocksmith bounty hunter! Once he has you in custody, he's going to enforce the law to its fullest, hardest extent and work you over - in all holes necessary! This Official Bounty Hunter Parody sequel proves that the punishment still fits the crime... nice and tight!" Summary: Official Bounty Hunter Parody 2 by director Reno for Diabolic Video showed just enough technical acumen to keep me from fussing, had modest enough sexual hijinks to allow for the possibility of rubbing a few out, and enough detail to entertain casual followers of the original series "just to see how far off they went" so I rated it a respectable Rent It unless you are a huge fan of the cast. Given the amount of time Reno was half or full naked, it struck me that the show was best suited for his female (or sexually ambivalent) fans, not surprising for a fledgling director of porn to dish out as a video resume. In short, while Official Bounty Hunter Parody 2 was not the greatest porn parody on the market by any means, it was worth checking out for genre fans and Reno's legion of followers, the trysts showing nothing new but covering most of the bases better than some of his peers.
