Body of Review:

Confessions of a Sinful Nun, makes one think of a nunsploitation flick, a cross between covenants and exploitations often featuring an aspect to the devil and some bondage, the most infamous works came from director Jess Franco with a film entitled Sex Demons, from the 1970s. This film isn’t that, and in fact, with all the exploitation movies of today’s mainstream this grouping still overlooks, but director Ricky Greenwood and the writer this production making his debut with assistance from co-director Dana Vespoli attempt to venture in the vein of this forgotten subgenre, aided by an exciting DVD cover. The disc, actually 2-DVDs. a softcore version included which I didn’t review for this site, and a lot of bonus items.

The story follows two ladies most closely first Sister Charlotte (Charlotte Stokely) and new arrival Lily (Lily Adams) with the ideal mother superior (Nina Hartley) but it also delves a little into the immoralism of the lesbianism, sin, desire and much more, it's a throwback to porn meets plot with substance.  This comes with a warning, the first sex scene won’t occur for at least 10-minutes and still the story works and weaves itself very well to generate interest, in addition, accepting communion, sign of the cross and some sexual deviant play with rosary sucking. Therefore, if you like quick sex scenes, and dislike plots, characters, and well-designed sets and costumes best to skip this right now, and there’s not much in the form of kinky sex, although one curious weird scene of checking Lily’s virginity though not a major scene, all harkens back to the nun exploitation films.

Scene One: 

Penny Pax and Darcie Dolce

Sister Penny and Sister Darcie are both missing and Sister Charlotte is sent to find and secretly locate them as they begin to undress basking in the sunlight,  enjoying each other’s bodies especially their large tits, they take their time to fully undress, especially nice to have them wearing the plain white panties and stockings as it adheres to an innocent nature. Summary:

This movie is definitely one for you to own and enjoy for repeated watching, while it didn’t win awards it did receive nominations, and the cast showed a natural love interest for the chemistry, and it includes Nina Hartley always a plus. The actual scenes are very lengthy and a movie which captures the viewers’ attention and shows some interesting crossover of language between religion and servicing each other, such as praying position (on knees) to worship one’s most inner lustful desires. This is a purchase, not just a rental film, wonderfully done.
