Audio/Video Quality: Even though this is a compilation from 11 different releases, all scenes were shot in full frame 1.33:1 aspect ratio. While the overall video quality varies from scene to scene, the main problem with this DVD is compression issues. New Sensations crammed three and a half hours of video on single dual-layered disc, which if done properly could produce decent overall compression quality. However, for some reason they neglected to utilize 2 gigs of space on the second layer, thus reducing the overall bit-rate of the DVD to sub-standard levels. This causes major artifacting and compression issues throughout the DVD. The Dolby Digital 2.0 soundtrack is pretty standard, only varying slightly between scenes in terms of volume levels. The audio is fairly clear and you more than get your fill of Taylor Rain's moans and groans.

Vince G's Initial Musings: Unless you just arrived on our planet or for are just getting into the adult film industry, you've probably heard of Taylor Rain. I've personally been a HUGE fan of hers since she burst onto the scene back in 2002. I mean lets be honest, the girl is smoking hot. Besides her physical attributes, she's very flexible, loves to do anal and moans a lot. Well, she's also been criticized for her constant moaning, but that's a personal preferences I suppose. Needless to say I was excited when I got the chance to review a compilation featuring the lovely Talyor Rain.

Body of Review: 11 scenes of Taylor Rain with 12 different guys. For a fan of Taylor Rain, that initially sounds like a very appealing DVD. However, upon viewing I Love Taylor, I must admit I was fairly disappointed. Technical problems aside, 3 hours and 32 minutes of watching Taylor Rain just isn't all that it's cracked up to be. Don't get me wrong, I love to watch Taylor get fucked, but the problem is that scenes are way to similar. The first problem is that all the scenes are MF (scene 10 has 2 guys but they don't perform at the same time), which features Taylor with another guy. Secondly, much of the sex is very similar, using the same camera angles and shooting style.

Of course part of the limiting factor is that Taylor Rain didn't do many MFF scenes, lesbian scenes or even interracial scenes. While it certainly didn't hamper her career much (she's semi-retired now), it certainly shows in a compilation DVD like I Love Taylor. One of the reasons I've found Private's "Private Life of Series" to be so successful (and enjoyable) is the assortment of different types of scenes featuring the same performer. That and the fact they use 2 discs instead of 1 to fit 3+ hours of entertainment on DVD.

Despite the majority of the scenes being fairly similar, there are a few good standout scenes included on I Love Taylor. Scene One features the always energetic Nacho Vidal, taken from "Erotica XXX". Nacho is as usual up to his dirty ways, throwing some choking, gaging, intense fucking and creative anal play at Miss Taylor. Taylor loves a good, hard fuck and Nacho gives it to her. Scene Three is from "Jonni Darkko's Anal Perversians" and is a very well shot anal romp. Taylor even puts on a nice solo show for the first several minutes of the scene. Manuel Ferrara does a great job of gaping Taylor's ass and gives her a nice cum shower to end the scene. In Scene Five, Michael Stefano gets the call to give Taylor a good fucking. He delivers nicely in this scene from "Anal Trainer #7", working Taylor's little ass hole like a thoroughbred. From "Naughy School Girls #26", Scene Seven has the ripped Lee Stone hammering away at Taylor. Despite there not being any anal in this scene, Lee gives Taylor one helluva ride and she lets it be known. Finally, Scene Ten is taken from "Axel Braun's Anal Retentive". Although both Claudio Meloni and Dick Smothers Jr. are in this scene, they don't perform together with Taylor. Claudio does an especially good job working Taylor's bung and making sure she gets to taste her own ass. Besides some good deepthroat/gagging action, Claudio also delivers a huge load to Taylor's face, which he tells her to clean up and swallow.

Extras: Pretty bare here, but I guess you're getting quite a lot of material in the main feature though. There is a "Photo Gallery" which lasts slightly over a minute. Also included is a nice entitled "Pick Your Pleasure", which enables you to jump to different points in the film which feature Taylor either: Teasing, Blowjob, Missionary, Doggystyle, Spoon, Cowgirl and Cumshot. This is actually quite nice feature for getting you right into the action. The menus are very simple and easy to navigate. Unfortunately the "scene selection" is rather bland, only listing each scene as "scene one" or "scene nine". It would have been nice if they could include some more specific info on who directed the scene, who stars in it and what film was it originally from, etc.

Vince G's Final Word: Honestly, I'm rather surprised regarding my feelings towards this release by New Sensations. As much as I wanted to like this DVD and as much as I love Taylor Rain, I just didn't find I Love Taylor to be a quality release. Ultimately the quality of the DVD, along with the content it contains just doesn't warrant a purchase. So unless you're a hardcore Taylor Rain fan, I'd say this is just a rental.
