Extras: The extras began with a 26:10 minute long Behind the Scenes feature by Eric Masterson, Director David Lord going into detail about what he likes and how the movie came about (the man wearing a t-shirt for his impressive Grindhouse XXX movie I enjoyed so much awhile back) before clips of the ladies took over most of the footage. For the record, David was always the one working the camera of the movie shooting though the credits list Francois Clousot as the director of photography. There was then a photogallery, an 8:18 minute long “Pornstar Bag” feature which takes a look at the suitcases of the female performers to rate them according to how slutty, edgy, and cluttered the contents are (quite funny), a web link, 22:55 minutes of interviews of the ladies as they were being made up, and some trailers with most offering 3 variations each (hardcore, softcore, and Youtube).

Audio/Video Quality: Trashy was presented in the expected widescreen as shot by director David Lord for Adam & Eve. Francois Clousot actually handled director of photography chores while Shadow Bradley was credited as editor, the entire stylish production looking like a lot of people contributed beyond the two day shooting schedule. David worked the camera and Jack Vegas served as his PA, Ric Rodney credited as the lighting gaffer while Melissa Makeup handled the garish makeup chores. In terms of the stylish look provided in all the scenes, David went with an edgy sort of look here, the lighting better suited for impact than providing the clearest resolution and look at the ladies; definitely a look one will either like or hate in an “MTV in a blender” sort of way. So it wasn’t exactly my thing in terms of the look here but fans of heavily tattooed ladies getting all slutty should find this quite interesting. The editing was rapid paced and did not always showcase the ladies the way I wanted them to be either yet I found it curiously interesting much of the time. The aural qualities of the show were another take it or leave it prospect, the loud musical score taking top spot in the mix even though some parts provided loud vocals as well, the audio not credited to anyone as I recall.

Body of Review: David Lord is a director known for his varied visions come to life for companies such as Adam & Eve. His parodies have won acclaim and his all sex releases have proven him to be competitive against all comers, his side projects often providing the kind of risk taking few of his peers offer these days. Such was the case with Trashy, billed as the first in a trilogy of movies, the show providing five scenes of appropriately slutty ladies with lots of tattoos and outfits you generally don’t see outside the big city. The rock-inspired look and sound of the scenes gave those that are sick and tired of “pretty porn” a chance to enjoy something different, my initial reaction being that this was not my favorite kind of look or sound. Still, with ladies such as Juelz Ventura, Christy Mack, and Angelina Valentine, I thought I would take a chance of enjoying it myself with admittedly mixed results. The back cover described the movie like this: “When it rains, it pours, and in acclaimed director David Lord's Trashy, the downpour of naughty has just begun... The first title in a sexual trilogy from Rock Star Entertainment and Adam & Eve Pictures, Trashy showcases the darker side of adult with the hottest tattooed and pierced stars performing in five pulsating scenes of raw sexuality. Starring glam rock goddess Christy Mack, Brandy Aniston, Angelina Valentine, Juelz Ventura, Candy Manson and Angela Sommers, this is truly the beginning of three unique looks at adult that will leave you anxiously awaiting the next. Shot entirely in true high definition, Trashy features high-end visuals, rock & roll, and all the stuff your parents warned you about. This is the start of something legendary... Trashy...here cums the rain!” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Juelz Ventura, a brunette fuck bunny with a body built for speed, was up first in a white room with an awesome car (fans of the director will recognize it). She wore torn mesh stockings and booty shorts, stripper boots and a skimpy top with a hairstyle reminding me of an old Mad Max movie. The levels of enthusiasm and energy combined well with the sheer sluttiness of the ladies, making this one stand out as a sharp contrast to titles like the recently reviewed “Young and Glamorous 4” that populate the market much more often. As porn is one of those areas where personal tastes can vary so much, I strongly suggest you check out the trailer linked above to get an idea of what you are getting into but as I have said repeatedly in the past, David Lord is always on my “must watch” list for the way he can weave such a strong set of visuals into strokable porn with replay value. In short, Trashy will best serve those viewers who like their women heavily tattooed and offering big racks, each of them acting in slutty fashion under an assortment of visuals that you just do not find that often in porn so if you’re looking for something off the beaten track, check this one out.
