Extra's: The best extra for most of you will be the 8.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature since it included a fair amount of extra sex and lots of nudity. The other extras were kind of standard though, consisting of a photogallery, some trailers, a set of five filmographies, a biography for Christoph Clark, a cumshot recap, and a helpful cast list with a paper DVD catalog inside the DVD case.

Audio/Video Quality: Euro Domination 5 was presented in the same 1.33:1 ratio full frame color it was originally shot in by director Christoph Clark for distribution by Evil Angel. There was a lot of grain and video noise this time, with mosquito noise dominating the movie at almost all times. I'm not sure what happened but this was among the worst looking Evil Angel movies I've seen in recent memory. The composition of the shots tended to favor the gals, making them look hotter than they would have under weaker direction, and I saw no compression artifacts although some mosquito noise was very present at all times. The fleshtones were fairly accurate in most scenes but I've seen better too since they were kind of washed out here. The 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo English audio was as basic as ever with little separation or dynamic range but even with the hollow sounding tonal qualities on display, it didn't hurt the action or heat.

Body of Review: Christoph Clark has been something of a fixture in the porn world for quite some time now and it comes as no surprise that Evil Angel snagged him as one of their directors several years back based on his ability to provide a different kind of feel to the action so many of us take for granted. His latest movie was Euro Domination 5: The Girls Take Charge, and it reminded me of Euro Domination 4 in terms of the technical qualities being sub-par more than anything else. The action wasn't as good as I've come to expect either so here's a quick look at the scenes, noting that no condoms were present but there was no spark either far too often:

Scene One: Katsumi and Simony Diamond, the duo featured on the right hand side of the front DVD cover, were up first in their skimpy fetish outfits that enhanced their looks a whole lot. This kind of costume (for lack of a better word) is one of the main reasons why I like the series since I can get gonzo anywhere. Initially, Katsumi dominated Simony and made her do all sorts of nasty stuff, like suck on a thick black dildo. Simony's ass, a delight for all to behold by the way, was then the object of Katsumi's attention as the Asian hotty prepared it for some heated action with saliva and spanking. The use of a large vibrator was then deployed on the ass and Katsumi moved over to warm up the meat trio of the scene: Frank Gun, Nick Lang, and James Brossman, with some oral attention before Simony got to enjoy the benefits of her pal's efforts. The next fifteen minutes showcased how well the guys porked the women, particularly their asses but also with some DP work, before the pop shots to the face that Katsumi swapped with Simony (before it got swallowed down).

Scene Two: Melissa Lauren, the brunette on the lower left hand corner on the front DVD cover, was up next as she teased the camera with some rough treatment of her own body. She's another gal that has been in some very hardcore scenes in the past (a whole lot of them in fact) and after some masturbation action, she energetically attacked partner Mark Wood as though she really wanted some of his wood. Keeping in mind how many toys she employed to stretch herself out for him, he still felt the need to pull her hair and otherwise force her to work his crotch over but she really didn't appear to need any coaxing given the way she whipped out his shaft from the pants prison. The scene was partially shot in a semi-POV style that looked good on her but the grain was problematic for me and only my desire to see what she'd do next kept me watching. The oral was grand to say the least and if any of the other gals were as enthusiastic, I didn't notice but that wasn't her strongest quality either. He went straight to the anal here and she seemed to love it as she took increasingly short breaths as he porked her thoroughly in several positions. It then ended with him jerking out a load to her face but as much as she played with it, she didn't swallow.

Scene Three: Jada Fire, the black gal from the front DVD cover wearing the "sex" necklace, was in a scene with Jerry and Mark Wood in the large living room. She began by demanding to know what they were talking about and showing them a lot of attitude. They were pussy whipped to the point that they took her shit without slapping her silly (in a show of great restraint I might add) and she rewarded them by sucking them off as well as a generic street walker would have done for $20 on a slow night. It was messy and soon led to them taking turns screwing her pussy and ass in numerous positions. She was mostly a lazy fuck when it came down to the screwing though, preferring they do all the work rather than she join in. This made the scene far weaker than I like to see and even the taste testing and pop shots to her worn face couldn't save it from lowering the overall heat in my opinion.

Scene Four: Lauren Phoenix, the anal queen shown on the far left hand side of the front DVD cover (in the middle), showed off her new look for Christoph with a shiny black bikini top and tight purple shorts (loved the dark hair too), as she told him what a slut she was. I didn't care for her multitude of ass blemishes here but the gal has proven her ability to shine like few others so I watched the scene from beginning to end. After the tease and masturbation action, she was then made to work with Kris Knight, Tony T., and Mr. Pete, one at a time. The sex was mostly oral and anal with a fair amount of vaginal too it surprised me that she wouldn't do them all at once after the speech about what a slut she thought she was. It was far from her best work, actually proving to be on the lower end for me, but it was worth a look.

Scene Five: Lydia St. Martin and Sylvie, a couple of brunettes with curvy bodies that weren't shown on the front DVD cover, decided they were upset at not getting their car back in a prompt and timely fashion from the mechanics who were sleeping instead of working. This led the gals to put on fetish attire and handcuff Zenza Raggi and Diether Von Stein before putting on a rough little show for the boys. The scene then had the gals doing lots of sex tricks from oral all the way to anal with lots of taste testing. It never got as hardcore as some of Christoph's other scenes in the series but the gals looked the part and the sex wasn't bad, just not remarkable as is typically the case. I was also surprised by the amount of strap on dildo use once the guys were actively participating in the scene rather than the guys doing the boning with the scene ending as usual with some facial before swapping out (but no swallowing).

Summary: Euro Domination 5 was something of a big let down for me since this has been one of my favorite series in porn since it started off. The fetish outfits were still great looking, the selection of ladies working the camera was keen, and the composition of the shots decent enough but the lack of energy and the poor technical qualities threw me for a loop in how limiting they were. I'm sure something went on this time to cause the problems but I doubt I'll ever know given how tight lipped the folks at Evil Angel are when things don't work out. I gave the show a rating of Rent It but it was on the low end of the scale nonetheless so look to the earlier volumes in the series if you're really wanting to get off consistently.
