Audio/Video:Playgirl's Lessons In Love distributed by Wicked Pictures, is presented in 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround Sound in Full Screen format. The audio portion again lacked greatly with the background music drowning out the vocals of the performers killing the scene for me. The background music became very annoying with the bass guitar peaking at certain levels during the sex scene. The narrators voice proved to be another flaw in the DVD with it being very robotic in nature and sounding very distorted. Maybe Playgirl needs to have a casting call for a narrator who has a voice as seductive as they attempt to be with their storylines. The lighting in some scenes were dark but that was due to the nature of the story that was being played out.Playgirl does a great job with the cast and sets but needs to re-group when it comes to the audio portion of their titles.

With every Playgirl title it's either a hit or miss with them, in this case it a miss. I wasn't every impressed by either the bonus solo scene or the extra sex scene. Both rather bored me. What bothered me the most was the background music which was to loud and bold drowning out the vocals. I don't know about anyone feels this but when I'm watching any adult movie I don't want to hear the background music, what I want to hear are the performers in the mist of passion, every moan, every groan that is made during the scene that arouses my ever sense. All the music did was distract from what was going on in the scene. I can understand why men in general don't like the background music. As with all Playgirl titles each DVD has 8 scenes. In this one 4 out of the 8 scenes I would have really enjoyed without the cheesy background music. I would have loved to have heard the Domme(Mya Luanna) in Pleasure for Pain in the verbal exchange she had with the sub(Marco Banderas) she had chained up. As I said before, four very good storylines, poor sound and lighting doesn't help carry the other four making me see Lessons in Love as a Rent It. The sex in each scene has become very routine as well either he pops his load on her ass or face. Even with all the good qualities like the cover with the hunk with his nice tight ass on the cover won't change my mind. The way I see it.. the music needs to be toned down by a lot and the person who chose the music has to think on a more romantic and seduction level if he or she wants to continue hold the viewers attention and focus on watching the couples in each scene. Another question comes to mind is the purpose of the solo masturbation scenes, who do they cater too.. the women? I don't think so. For whatever reason Playgirl adds them is beyond me, I can live without them. If anything dedicate a solo DVD for those out there that enjoy watching the solo scenes.
