Extra's: The extras were quite extensive this time, giving the DVD a lot of replay value. The first extra was the 17.5 minute long Behind the Scenes featurette by Jeff Scott. It had a lot of the funny material you'd expect from this cast as well as some of the sex footage most of us want to see. The next extra was the director's commentary by Francois Clousot. It had the same limitations Sin City's other commentaries had, making it barely worth listening to. There were also two photogalleries, four interviews (with Tami Lynn, India, Lauren Phoenix, and Shay Sweet) that lasted less than a couple minutes each, a pop shot compilation, nine mini-biographies, 3.5 minutes of bloopers, some spam, trailers, and a company profile.

Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in non-anamorphic widescreen with an aspect ratio of about 1.85:1. The problems with the picture were numerous and often centered on the saturation of the colors, the lack of proper lighting, and the ensuing grain and video noise that came of it. I have seen some Sin City movies look great but this wasn't even close to what I expected of them this time. The audio was presented in the usual 2.0 stereo English, not the advertised 5.1 Dolby Digital surround listed on the DVD cover. It was hollow and the levels varied too much making it a bit below average and akin to one of David Stanley's releases at Vivid.

Body of Review: Sin City has been making waves over the last couple of years in the feature porn market. The company has had its ups and downs that have held it back a bit but I think with some minor fixes, it could become a contender. After all, the company has several very attractive contract performers, a plan to improve, and generally gives some solid extras. Their latest effort is a little title called Sweetheart, a movie centering on a young couple that are famous but having difficulties in their relationship. Lauren Phoenix and Steven St. Croix play the couple (although you'd think Shay Sweet was the lead by the DVD cover), and the fighting between them through a television show host becomes the basis for the movie. If this sounds interesting to you, read the following breakdown of the scenes by cast:

Scene One: Lauren, one of the rising stars of the porn industry, celebrated her new diamond ring by giving it up for Steve in bed. Always an energetic performer, she handled him with great energy and enthusiasm, from the meeting of his thrusts to the bouncy oral she gave him. She even gave up her ass and that helped make the scene even better. In between positions, she tasted his penis and it ended when he jerked off onto her abdomen (although it reached as far away as her face). In general, it was a warm scene with a lot to like and a swell way to open the show.

Scene Two: Tami, a curvy Asian gal with a cute face, started the next scene by blowing Pete in the hallway of a house. She got him all wet and toyed with him in a teasing fashion as he charged up his batteries. I thought it would lead to something further but apparently, she only did oral here although it was a good oral scene.

Scene Three: Shay, the hotty on the front cover (who wasn't the lead here), and Trevor, had a scene on a couch. He spent a lot of time going down on her, using his tongue and fingers to get her off, before she gave him an okay but short BJ in return. The couple then boned in a few positions with her making lots of noise until he jerked off on her breasts. The camera work limited the heat this time more than anything else.

Scene Four: Lauren, the true lead of the movie, and Shay, had a lesbian scene together on the couch. Admittedly, I like lesbian scenes between cuties and they certainly qualified as such so you know I enjoyed the action here. They licked and sucked each other off although no toys were used. The two had some chemistry and energy together but the weak production values hindered the action for the viewer.

Scene Five: Dee, the industry veteran that has an exotic mix of races going for her, and Steven, had a scene in an easy chair. They did the usual oral action and screwed in several positions but I didn't feel any chemistry between them. They went through all the right motions and did everything as they were supposed to but the spark wasn't there. It ended with a pop shot and both seemed to be punching a clock on this one.

Scene Six: India, a lean Black gal with a curvy body, had a scene with Chris in the living room. They did some energetic oral and fingering, displaying a sense of wanting to be there that was lacking in the last scene and after screwing for a while in several positions, with her keeping up with his moves, he rubbed out his load. It was a decent scene in most ways.

Summary: As much as I think Shay is hotter than almost anyone in porn and the extras were great, the technical values and actual heat were limited most of the time so the best I can give this one is a Rent It. In general, the company makes some good stuff but until they polish up their act a bit, they will be behind the curve in terms of the quality of their movies. With a little more work however, they will be poised to shoot up the ranks of their competitors. I hope to see this happen really soon.
