The video was presented in full frame color. The picture is very sharp, with very little grain. However, the picture suffers from poor lighting. Each of the scenes appear pretty dark, not detailing the action as well as it should have. The audio was presented in 2-channel stereo and sounds pretty good. There's background music, but it does not interfere with viewing pleasure.

Body of Review:

Star Quality is a feature that plays off of the popularity of reality shows, by making a sex game show. But the fact is that it's not much of a game show, except the format. There aren't any prizes and the point of the show is to show what it takes to make in the "jizz biz". Roxanne Hall plays the hostess. Before each scene, a pair of porn stars get introduced, with a brief interview of the female participant. Next they draw a card from a bowl to find out what kind of "scene" they're going to do and "randomly" pick a set. The idea behind this feature doesn't add a whole lot, but I suppose it's a fairly decent way to make a porno. Here's the scene by scene.

I really didn't care for the entire setup that this feature presented. It didn't seem to be done very well. In terms of the content, I wasn't very impressed with the sex. For the most part, each scene seemed too much like the last. In this case, it isn't a very good thing, because it wasn't very exciting. Additionally, the scenes were all pretty short. The bottom line, fans of straightforward and clean sex may want to check this title out as a rental, but everyone else should skip it.
