Audio/Video Quality: The picture quality varied a bit more than I generally like but often enough, I think it was done to enhance the feel of the movie. The sound was good, especially the music track.

Body of Review: LA Unforgiven is a porno made in the spirit of all those old detective movies where a marital breakup is involved. Before I go too much further, I think it's fair to warn you that Michael and Evan acted credibly well but most of the rest of the cast appeared to be reading their lines cold. Luckily, the two male leads carry the day with regard to the acting. The sex included mostly oral and straight with some anal but unless you like feature porno with a plot, you'll want to skip this one. Here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast:

Scene One: Tina, one of many women here with large implants, had sex with Chris on a bed. The sex itself was uninspiring but included anal for those who care.

Scene Two: Julie, looking cute except for her own implants (they look larger than the current ones and I've seen them up close and personal) took on Herschel on a bed. Her BJ was to die for and the straight sex wasn't bad either.

Scene Three: Sammie, yet another large implant laden gal, had sex with the mighty Evan in an office. The sex was actually pretty warm here and it looked like she really wanted to do him.

Scene Four: Ryan and Michael had sex on a couch. Oral and straight with minor amounts of chemistry.

Scene Five: Julie and Evan on a couch. The sex included anal this time and the scene was well done with some real warmth.

Scene Six: Cheyanne, not to be confused with the well known contract performer formerly known as Wildcat, had a scene with Herschel. It was a fair scene and better than he usually does.

Scene Seven: Julie, still looking good with her long mane of hair, took on Michael on a desk. The sex included anal and some more real chemistry. Good scene.

Summary: As with pretty much all VCA movies, condoms were used but they didn't really account for the sexual problems here. Some of the scenes just looked like the couple met, shook hands, and started to go at it while other scenes, typically Julie's, showed the consummate professional she is. Fans of hers will want to rent this one or maybe even buy it as will fans of feature/plotted porn. Some decent extras would've helped the value of this one and I suppose it would make a better second tier release (ie: lower the price) for VCA. Overall, not a bad effort at combining plot and sex but certainly not the company's best work.
