The Movie: - John "This is the Girl" stars Mercedez as Meg and Eric Masterson as Jack. This release features a mix of lesbian and heterosexual action and includes some light fetish material. The usual Vivid commercials are placed before the menu, which is annoying as always, but better than being placed before the feature. Condoms are used in all scenes. 74 Minutes

Audio/Video: - John Vivid seems to have a problem recording their dialog tracks at an audible level and then not providing subtitles or closed captioning for their story driven releases. There are times when we just couldn't understand what the actors were saying, which detracted from our ability to follow the plot. The video quality is excellent, and included some alternate angles.

Extras: - John Vivid did an excellent job with the extras on this DVD. There are previews of other Vivid releases, a decent 25 minute behind the scenes segment, four trailers, a Mercedez bio page and a sex positions section which just links you to straight to different sex scenes (good for those who want to skip the David Stanley story line.)

Scene 1: - John The movie starts with Eric confessing his love for his roommate Mercedez, which is unfortunate because she is a lesbian and he is too "manly" for her (Trixie - Eric, manly?.) The incredibly hot Cherokee comes over and she and Mercedez retire to a separate bedroom while Eric dreams about Mercedez. Cherokee and Mercedez are both very attractive and they both seemed to really enjoy this scene. They both have on some very sexy lingerie outfits, which are well showcased in this scene. They are both in fit shape, and people tired of overly skinny women in adult film will be happy to see a pair of girls with nice asses. There are a variety of acts depicted, including some foot action for those who enjoy it, but not too much that those who aren't would be turned off by it. The toy usage is very well done, and the strap-on used is pretty unique. Mercedez is particularly apt at pleasing a woman, and the techniques she uses are worth taking note of (Trixie Guys pay attention!) The scene ends with Cherokee finding out about Eric's confession of love and storming out (both of these girls have great accents and can act out anger very well.)Acts Included: Oral, Feet, Vaginal, Toys and Anal. At first glance this scene seems out of place and a bit awkward, but it does fit into the movie "plotline". A somewhat cute guy is sitting on a bench in a dingy alley when a tall, skinny, attractive blonde approaches him. The guy propositions the attractive blonde,who turns out to be a whore, with a horrible French accent. Some banter takes place and quickly progresses with them engaged in different sexual acts while a creepy blonde guy in white leers in a corner. Mercedes happens upon the guy in white watching and too takes interest in the other couple. This scene is interesting because the DVD allows for the viewer to select different angles. This scene ends with the blond woman offering to pay the French guy. Mercedes is then asked by the guy in white what she has to offer she says " For ten dollars you get a handjob." The guy in white replies " What do I get for ten cents?" Mercedes quips, " Hmmm. For ten cents?" Then she reaches for his hand spits in it and tucks it in his pants.

Scene 3: - John Cherokee devises an evil plan to get back at Eric for confessing his love for Mercedez,. All she needs is a little semen, courtesy of veteran porn actor Steven St. Croix. Steven is at least a foot taller than Cherokee, so this makes for an interesting combination. She gives him some rather sloppy oral, and the sex has some good heat to it, but the highlight of this scene is St. Croix's hilarious comments at the end. This scene begins with Eric at his lame job questioning an attractive client about refrigerators. The client notices how depressed he is and decides to cheer him up with a blow job which leads to sex on the steel table of the office. This sex scene is good but a little awkward because Eric keeps his socks on and the girl kept looking at the camera Paris Hilton style. This sex scene is also tamer then the rest of the sex scenes with just the standard positions. The most humorous part of this scene besides Eric keeping his socks on, is when his boss walks in.

Scene 5: - John After discovering semen on her panties, Mercedez concludes that Eric is a pervert and they get into an argument. Later, Mercedez falls down the stairs and is taken to the hospital. Cherokee accuses Eric of attacking her, and Eric goes to jail, where his two cell mates think he's "cute." Fortunately, or unfortunately depending on your taste, there's no jail house sex here, just some awkward moments until Mercedez wakes up and Eric is released. Mercedez explains, through a flashback, that after their argument Chris Cannon (Mercedez's coworker) came over to get the handjob she was always teasing him with. Mercedez gave Chris a pretty decent blowjob/handjob, but this scene could have used a lot more.

Finally! Eric and Mercedez have sex even if it is pity sex. This scene last a decent time and Eric does a better job than his last sex scene. Mercedez doesn't seem has interested in it has she did in her scenes with Cherokee. The scene is accentuated with some unusual background music, but it doesn't drown out the moaning. Toward the end of this scene Eric cums on Mercedez's tummy and also lets out an aggressive speech towards Mercedez including the phrase " Do you know how fucking horrible it is to be in love with you?"

While this movie was humorous, the sex scenes were actually decent. It had attractive females and decent looking men, fantastic DVD options, and of course plenty of diverse sexual positions and situations that wouldn't scare off a viewing couple. A major plus is on the DVD menu where it allows the viewer to skip straight to the sex scenes of the movie, and also the bonus extra includes more sex scenes involving the stars of this movie. A major negative is the audio quality, in certain scenes it is difficult to make out what is said and there is no closed captioning or subtitle available. If you like healthy attractive women pleasing each other then this movie is for you. Also if you like guys having sex with their socks on then you should view this movie for Eric's sex scenes alone!
