Extra's: The standard Vivid extras were included here. There were five bonus scenes from other Vivid releases, three of which starred Sunrise Adams, a nine minute long Behind the Scenes feature, some trailers, a couple of photogalleries, a positions room, a short biography of Sunrise, and a double sided DVD cover (not to mention the spam at the front of the DVD). The bonus scenes looked better here than they did in their respective original releases, a fact that Vivid should address.

Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color, as expected of Vivid. Like far too many of the company's releases, the lighting was poorly handled, causing grain and video noise to interfere with my viewing pleasure. The fleshtones were not exactly accurate in most scenes but I liked the cast and wished Wendy Divine, the writer here, had written herself into a role. With a weak picture, you're probably asking how the audio was. Well, it was also kind of weak. The 2.0 stereo English was somewhat hollow and distant at times, with the goofy dialogue reminiscent of something I'd have churned out when I was a kid. (Sorry Wendy, I still think you're hot.) The music was not great and usually mixed in too heavily so as to cover the vocals that must've been screwed up to get rid of so blatantly.

Body of Review: Sunrise Adams is one of the cutest exports of Texas since Farrah Fawcett left the state in the 1970's. This gal has proven to be a valuable asset to Vivid ever since the ink dried on her contract and that brings me to the subject of this review, Pink Slip. The movie is a sequel to another Vivid release, Ring Me Up, both of which reminded me of poor knock offs of the mainstream hit, Dumb And Dumber. With no real plot to speak of, the sex came in the form of a series of vignettes while Eric Masterson and Trevor Zen acted like surfer dudes that were stoned on a couch. If you like the cast, be sure to check out the following breakdowns of the scenes:

Scene One: TJ, a blonde gal that has always seemed to get my attention, and Peter, a typical porn guy, had a scene in a kitchen. She teasingly played with his penis, giving a no-hands blowjob as she looked into his eyes, before he took hold of her head to gag her a little. He didn't spend nearly as much time going down on her; and his skill level made me see why (he's not the best oral lover), but he plugged away on her pussy like any of us would have done. I find her attractive and think she's been getting slowly pushed out of the business but it looked like he had to work out a load rather than let it come naturally (as it would if they had chemistry). It wasn't bad but she's done better and he was as generic as they come.

Scene Two: Lola, the sultry lean brunette with a large sexual appetite, took care of Trevor on a couch. She groped him to get him hard before letting him go down on her. She seemed to enjoy it and reciprocated playfully but the music was set to drown out the vocals for much of the scene, something that weakened it for me. They did seem to have some chemistry together and her energy levels were as high as ever, making the scene a bit better than it otherwise would have been with a lesser couple.

Scene Three: Cherokee, a dynamic bundle of energy with a squeaky voice, Ashley, the long-legged blonde from England, and Mark, one of the reigning kings of porn, had a scene in a loft. The gals orally satisfied him with him giving little in return before he started boning them. Each of these gals is well liked in porn circles as having talent and appeal beyond their statistics, a fact not lost on Mark as he drilled away at them. The scene was cleaner than Mark or Ashley are known for but I still had some fun watching them go at it. It ended with a facial that Mark seemed to want back as he kissed them when done.

Scene Four: Sunrise, the hot blonde on the front DVD cover, showed why this young Texan is sorely missed in her home state. In a nearly empty room, she had a lesbian scene with Lezley that started off slowly but gained momentum, and heat, as the two progressed. The licking, sucking, and rubbing were all fun to watch as they appeared to get off on one another, Lezley even pulling her friend's hair at one point. I'd have snacked on either of their cracks too and while they've done better, they did just fine here too.

Scene Five: Sunrise, thankfully in another scene, enjoyed the attention of Eric in a freight elevator at night. They were somewhat rough with one another as they played their respective roles, with her giving only the slightest of oral loving this time. He then took her from behind as she asked for it deep and hard in her "tight pussy". I liked her lingerie and the camera angles were interesting even if the lighting was pretty weak. They had more oral sex at the end of the scene and it seemed to be a good scene in terms of sexual energy and chemistry.

Summary: From Sunrise to TJ to Cherokee and all the others, I liked the cast but most of the scenes lacked the heat each was truly capable of. As such, I think it's worth a rating of Rent It but only for fans of the gals like myself. Had the scenes looked better (as the bonus scenes did) and a bit less formula were employed, I'd be leading the charge to throw laurels on those involved with making this one but in many ways it was just average porn sex.
