Audio/Video Quality: The Swing Life was presented in a crisp, anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Jacky St. James for New Sensations. Using the talents of Paul Woodcrest and Eddie Powell on cameras, editor Gabrielle Anex, and the usual crew responsible for the company’s best efforts, Jacky applied the technical team much like she does on her other works to get things looking and sounding great. The flesh tones were accurate and the composition of most camera angles looked good, the editing as smooth as ever to draw attention away from the technical side so viewers can just enjoy the resulting four vignettes. There was a company watermark on the lower right hand corner of the screen for those who care. The aural components were satisfying too, the music, vocals, and ambient sounds all blended in for a welcome upgrade from the plethora of generic sounding releases I put up with on a weekly basis. As with the visual aspects of the movie, the audio portion was handled nicely, perhaps other companies will start paying more attention too.

Body of Review: Jacky St. James is a female director at New Sensations, the young lady wisely getting other company directors to provide technical excellence in her scenes. Her latest release in the “Tales From The Edge” series in for review is called The Swing Life, a set of four scenes showing couples sharing their bodies with one another in a much more believable manner than previous efforts showing one partner being allowed a free pass. Going into this one, my favorite performer was Cherie DeVille with Jodi Taylor well worth a special mention, the cast fleshed out nicely by Keira Nicole and Britney Amber. I know this came out months ago but it just came in for review, some companies more timely than others.

The back cover said this about the feature: “After Gillian discovers that her best friend, Lindsay, isn’t as uptight as she expected, she reveals a provocative secret. Gillian and her husband, Joe, are swingers and they’re eager to invite Lindsay and her husband, Patrick, into their fold. Aroused by the possibility of an open marriage Lindsay shares this news with Patrick, who eventually agrees to give it a shot. But when he is slow to take the initiative with Gillian, the two girlfriends surprise him with an afternoon of explosive sex. Caroline and Tyler enjoy a very emotionally and physically satisfying marriage, but that doesn’t prevent their insatiable curiosity from creeping in from time to time. Fascinated by the dynamics of the swinger lifestyle, the two set their sights on close friends and swingers, Jenny and Max. But after a failed attempt at seduction, Tyler and Caroline are worried they might not have the game it takes to succeed in the lifestyle. Or do they?” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: My Neighbor’s Wife, Pt 1: Keira Nicole, the curvy blond hotty with pretty eyes from the front cover, was up first with Michael Vegas (the creepy looking guy sitting next to her on the front cover), after the short story elements established the swinging dynamic. The dialog was a little stilted and more sexual tension could have been built up but it was no worse than most fast forward fodder, akin to the days of old when the pizza delivery guy offered more sausage (more or less). She sat on a red velvet lounging chair in the house as he helped peel her attire off, Michael sucking her all natural boobs before gobbling her gash after uncovering the hairy snatch from under her panties. He diddled her too and fingered her, the guy energetic enough for her though she overdid it a little as well. In short, The Swing Life was the latest in the “Tales From The Edge” line that some of my readers enjoy as light adult entertainment, the director offering some taboo encounters without going overboard, so check it out.
