Audio/Video Quality: Space Sex Part 1 was presented in anamorphic widescreen by director Ralph Long for distribution by Girlfriend Films. The sets were simple to say the least, the camera work basic but providing accurate flesh tones and unpolished editing by Bill Fox and “Demon Lust”. There were weird effects that covered some of the issues but it otherwise looked okay, the framing and editing leaving much to be desired though the ultra low budget seemed good for making this a spoof over a true feature. The aural components of the show were handled using an AC3 codec, the 2.0 Dolby Digital English track using a standard 192 Kbps bitrate and a sample rate of 48 kHz, the vocals easily heard in most cases.

Body of Review: Ralph Long has been in porn a long time now, his latest works for “Spizoo” distributed by Girlfriend Films. His latest spoof is called Space Sex Part 1, a story about saving the galaxy and having sex where it seemed to be made up as they went along. As such, this was more of a spoof of space dramas than a parody, my biggest reason for checking it out being that Cherie DeVille was in two of the scenes, albeit only lesbian and BJ-only scenes. Still, Karlee Grey was looking as hot as ever and Jessica Jaymes is the company contract gal, plus the short appearance by Ron Jeremy seemed appropriate given recent disclosures in the industry. The back cover described it like this: “Spizoo Entertainment and Ralph Long present Space Sex Part 1. This epic stars ROn Jeremy and Spizoo contract girl Jessica Jaymes. The year is 2069 and the world is at war. Ralph Long is sent in to save the Galaxy and mankind by finding the key to our DNA. The evil General Ron Jeremy is out to destroy all mankind and clone himself all over the world. The hunt is on the source of the human DNA and to help us find our creators.” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that some condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Cherie DeVille, a beautiful blond hotty with amazing eyes, was up first with brunette company contract gal Jessica Jaymes, and Mark White dressed up as a robot. Summary: Space Sex Part 1 by director Ralph Long for Spizoo Entertainment via Girlfriend Films was very limited, cheesy, and only had a single full sex scene, one lesbian scene and two blowjobs fleshing out the rest of the short spoof so it earned a rating of Rent It. I admit that Cherie DeVille and Karlee Grey added some appeal to me and with a half bottle of “jack”, the movie will probably impress the trailer trash contingent that enjoys porn so check out Space Sex Part 1 and see if it works better for you than it did for me, the technical aspects and special effects a far cry from what one might expect from a bigger budget offering but the silly humor almost contagious too so look for “Part 2” in February and the finale next spring if this is your thing.
