Audio/Video Quality: Screwber X was presented in anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Dana Vespoli for Evil Angel. The visual elements this time were well shot, the cramped quarters of the vehicle certainly presenting some challenges to be overcome but the lighting helped make the flesh tones look good, only some wind noise bugging me. There was a company watermark but the uncredited camera work seemed a step up from last time overall, making it easier to watch. The aural components of the show were basic and not overly distinctive but I could hear the cast going at it, whispering sexual comments toward one another and otherwise providing some ear candy worth listening to.

Body of Review: Dana Vespoli is one of the most creative directors distributed by Evil Angel. Her latest release in for review called Screwber X, the emphasis this time was on four individual scenes tied to some imaginative “Uber” ride sharing antics. With ladies such as Cherie DeVille, Dana Vespoli, Dana DeArmond, and others worth your consideration, as well as some downright zany trysts that were well outside what most people expect from modern porn, I found this strangely appealing. The company website described the action like this: “Inventive director Dana Vespoli’s “ScrewberX” is a surreal a look at the potential for hard-core sex and comical weirdness in the world of ride sharing. Late for an acting audition, fleshy, pale Sovereign Syre gets a ride with goofy, inappropriately forward Steve Holmes. Taking everyday experiences and transforming them into quality porn versus running with the pack of copycats is something fewer and fewer of Dana’s peers seem able to do, not each scene working for me as stroke material but at least she tried to do something outside the box. The inclusion of ladies like Cherie DeVille, Dana DeArmond, Sovereign Syre, and herself against suitable mopes in outlandish circumstances bodes well for her future projects too, the four scenes offering a lot to like even if not always her most sexually inspirational material. In short, Screwber X was a comic take on the share riding phenomenon so popular in many cities these days, the director using inventive re-imagining of the service to go one step further so check it out.
