I’ve only seen a few of his titles for the company compared to many from elsewhere and I’ll be the first to admit that he seems to put a little less effort into these, using lesser performers and having weaker technical aspects, but he still shines where it counts for most people in terms of generating the heat when he is part of a scene. That said, the lighting was decent, the resolution slightly underwhelming even for a standard definition flick, and the editing seemed abrupt at times as though rushed but the flesh tones were generally pretty accurate and the framing was okay. Some will appreciate the lack of a company watermark on the screen as his other works tend to have but even the compression artifacts observed on the big screen will not bother those of you that watch such porn on computer screens or small screen televisions. The aural components were in 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo with some dynamic range, the vocals not sounding manipulated in post production though some were still on the low side (whispers between the cast).

Body of Review: Manuel Ferrara is widely hailed as the best male performer in porn, bar none, by the ladies in the industry as well as his legions of fans that still buy porn. Over time though, he has garnered a solid reputation as a director too, his handful of releases for Hard X never eclipsing those of the lead director but certainly complimenting her titles in a way I suspect few others would be able to. Having just received a box of older titles that apparently have not been credibly reviewed elsewhere, I offered some up to the team and picked a few myself, the latest one being MILF Teen Cum Swap. The premise of the scenes was to pair a cougar and a kitten who would then work a guy over before cum swapping the resulting semen, Manuel only in two of the scenes. The good news is, the ladies included talented hotties such as Cherie DeVille, Dana Vespoli, Lola Foxx, and Dillion Harper, a wealth of sexually appealing diversity in action when the entire cast was looked at.
