Audio/Video Quality: Hall Pass: Cheating With Permission was presented in a crisp, anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Jacky St. James for New Sensations. Using the talents of Paul Woodcrest and Eddie Powell on cameras, editor Gabrielle Anex, and the usual crew responsible for the company’s best efforts, Jacky applied the technical team much like she does on her other works to get things looking and sounding great. The flesh tones were accurate and the composition of most camera angles looked good, the editing as smooth as ever to draw attention away from the technical side so viewers can just enjoy the resulting four vignettes. There was a company watermark on the lower right hand corner of the screen for those who care. The aural components were satisfying too, the music, vocals, and ambient sounds all blended in for a welcome upgrade from the plethora of generic sounding releases I put up with on a weekly basis. As with the visual aspects of the movie, the audio portion was handled nicely, perhaps other companies will start paying more attention too.

Body of Review: Jacky St. James is a popular director at New Sensations, the talented young lady winning many awards as a result of her works. Her latest release in the “Tales From The Edge” series in for review is called Hall Pass: Cheating With Permission, a set of four scenes showing couples coming to grips with their fantasies of sexual fulfillment that include an outside party for the wife. With ladies including awesome Cherie DeVille, Brooklyn Chase, Anikka Albrite, and Ava DaLush working with guys including Mick Blue and Ramon Nomar, I figured this would be a lot of fun to watch. The back cover said this about the feature: “With her husband's blessing, Anikka indulges in an afternoon seduction with a long time crush. Cherie's husband is eager to help her overcome her sexual inhibitions by arranging an afternoon session with a passionate masseuse. Ava catches her employee off guard when the private meeting she requested isn't to fire him, but to instead proposition him for sex. Months of sexual tension reaches a breaking point between Brooklyn and her personal chef when she confesses to him that he's her "Hall Pass" guy.” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Anikka Albrite, the reigning AVN performer of the year, and her male counterpart Mick Blue (both as reigning male performer of the year per AVN and as her real life husband), were up next in a scene where they portrayed a hotwife situation (a funny irony there, yes?). All four ladies were top notch, my favorites being Cherie DeVille and Anikka Albrite but Brooklyn Chase and Ava DaLush certainly fine too, there was a great deal to appreciate here with a lot more appeal to a general audience to justify the rating. In short, Hall Pass: Cheating With Permission was the latest in the “Tales From The Edge” line that people are adoring, the director offering some taboo encounters without the step relation angle, so check it out.
