Extras: The best extra was the 18:50 minute long Behind the Scenes feature, the footage comprised of a series of post sex interviews by Jacky with the cast. Each of the interviews was different but allowed the cast and director put their scene in context as well as allow them to expound on various topics so don’t miss it.

Audio/Video Quality: A Hotwife Blindfolded was presented in anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Jacky St. James for Digital Sin under her interesting Tales from the Edge line. The solid lighting kept the flesh tones looking exceptional and the resolution of the scenes working best, few compression artifacts observed when watching the movie on the big screen television. The Director of Photography was Eddie Powell this time, the man providing the needed visual elements to make the production work best with the man and Paul Woodcrest working the cameras. It was clear that a lot of work went into the movie and it looked really good, the editing by Gabrielle Anex and lighting helping a bunch to minimize visual issues. There was a company watermark in the lower right corner of the screen but it was very light and unobtrusive so few should complain. The aural components were well done too, the quality of the stereo English presentation combining clear vocals, appropriate ambient sounds, and a mixture of well handled musical pieces to work really well.

Body of Review: Jacky St. James is an award winning director that continues to evolve with her work at New Sensations. One of her best series is called “Tales From The Edge”, the vignettes presented in the series picking up a topic to allow a title four scenes to explore the particular idea from differing angles. Her latest foray into the erotic deals with “hotwifing” (one word) where Jacky described the term like this: “Hotwifing is the practice of sharing one's wife sexually with other men and deriving pleasure from watching her arousal. Not to be confused with cuckoldry, the act involves no humiliation or displays of dominance.” While some might think this a subtle departure from the cuckold genre, it really is worlds apart in terms of the dynamics involved, the husband not driven by shame or fear of a dominant partner but out of wanting to see her pleasured by another for various reasons, that it opens the door to his being allows extracurricular sex only one possibility. The title in question is called A Hotwife Blindfolded, a set of four scenes starring ladies such as Cherie DeVille, Brooklyn Chase, Casey Calvert, and Dana DeArmond, opposite guys like Erik Everhard, Xander Corvus, and Toni Ribas where the men remove the visual stimulus of their wife with a blindfold to see them with another man. Going into the show, I thought it had a lot of potential to arouse, the couples theme not lost on me as a raincoater at all.

In short, I liked A Hotwife Blindfolded as another appealing release in the “Tales from the Edge” line, the stories of marital bliss coming from a completely different angle than usual, the “hotwifing” idea explored better than anything I’ve seen of late as Jacky expands her scope beyond the fauxcest titles she has carved out such a major niche with so check this one out and let me know what you think.
