Extra's: My favorite extra was the full length audio commentary by Jim Holliday and Selena Steele. The two provided some of the history behind the movie (as a continuation of Cheerleader Pink) as well as the industry; providing some anecdotes about the movie as well with Lainey Baron joined them underway. The 11 minute Behind the Scenes feature by Wit Maverick was hilarious thanks in large part to the cast (like Katie's quick wit) and some of the silliness that went on during the shoot. There were also some minimal Star Bios, trailers for movies like Aces in the Holes, Floss, Paradise Hole, Sorority Sex Kittens 3, Little Town Flirts, Eye Candy Refocused, Perfect Smiles, Brown Eyed Blonde, Timeless, a photogallery, a bit on the multiple angles used, and a jump to the scene bit too.

Audio/Video Quality: Cheerleader School: Special Edition was presented in the originally filmed 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by director Jim Holliday for VCA Pictures back in February 2003. The picture was crystal clear and had a wonderfully diverse cast as seen on the front DVD cover. The fleshtones were accurate thanks in large part to the flat and plentiful lighting, eliminating grain and other visual defects in a manner I wish contemporary companies would at least consider. This was one of the latter Holliday flicks where few budget considerations came into play, coming off as great looking if not the best the man had to offer at this stage in his career. The audio was presented in the usual 2.0 Dolby Digital English with the vocals very solidly captured and the music still a cut above the pack as far as I was concerned. The music was trademark Jim Holliday style with Reno & the Rumrunners with Jan, Derol, & the Steamrollers on back up duties this time (with a tune or two from N. Earl Sly and the West Salsa Border Jumpers too). There was the normal range of music here for those who care but the movie seemed to be more of an after thought or filler in between the other movie made at the same time.

Body of Review: Jim Holliday was known for making sequels at the drop of a hat, sometimes waiting awhile to pick up a story while working at VCA Pictures. In porn, that makes it tough since many of the performers leave, semi-retire, or are unavailable but Cheerleader School: Special Edition managed to pick up most of the original cast from Cheerleader Pink. The story was truncated due to various concerns discussed by Jim on the commentary track but it offered up some light, breezy fun for fans of the original ladies. The cover said it like this: "At last report, the North Fresno Bobcats Cheerleading squad was suspended by the league commissioner's office for a whole slew of unladylike violations. Not only must the wiggle off the suspension hook, the season is winding down. At Cheerleader School, they are taught all about tight ends and wide receivers and multiple formations. They also learn football. And how will this zany class of undergrads cope with the striking new female boss, who is most definitely a hands on owner???" That said, here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that condoms were used in the scenes:

Scene One: Rio Mariah (third from the top on the upper right hand corner) was up first in her little cheerleader outfit as she spouted her Portuguese-tainted accent on Alex Sanders as he sucked her ass in bed. She was in her prime here and showed a lot of passion as she turned things around to suck him off. She was a natural and her active riding style was sweet as her ass cheeks rippled when getting her pussy poked. She did a fine job vaginally but wanted more, moving to anal but he did most of the work as she was on her back but she got better once on top. He was ill with a temperature so I understood his tiny pop shot but it went to the face for those who care.

Scene Two: Lainey Baron (lower right hand corner, third from the bottom), Anthony Hardwood, and Alex Sanders, were up next in a medical clinic setting as the three provided some comic relief (some of it unintentional). There was a return to the foot fetish action before she blew them, moving to the men taking turns eating her out and screwing her cookie. She was very active at riding in both vaginal and anal but it ended so soon that I really was left wanting more.

Scene Three: Shayla LaVeaux, Kylie Wilde, Rio Mariah, Taylor Rain, and Chloe Dior, were sort of up next as the bunch of gals stripped their shorts off and used anal plugs. There really wasn't any sex here but I know some of you consider such scenes as sexually important or relevant so I included it.

Scene Four: Ninalyn, Neveah Ashton, August Avila, and Rio Mariah, were up next as they had some heated lesbian antics on the bed with new owner of the team Selena Steele. The foot fetish material came first with Selena treating them like they were her own personal sex slaves. The oral was plentiful and some toys were used before Anthony Hardwood jumped in to assist. Selena did some fine anal with a lot of energy after blowing him; resulting in a wad to her mouth.

Scene Five: Katie Morgan, Monica Mayhem, and Lainey Baron, were up next in the locker room with Ben English. Katie was the cutest of the bunch but each of them did some fine job of slobbing his knob, some minor foot fetish work going on as well as lesbian licking. Ben did a solid job of taking care of the gals, and they rode him vaginally as though they were into it (Katie playing something of a "cock hog" per Lainey on the commentary). It ended when he rubbed out a load to the floor for them to lick up; a marked difference from most of Holliday's flicks to this point where women were clearly in charge. The gals were aggressive riders and the scene was very heated.

Scene Six: Felix Vicious, Kelli Passion, and Cameron Cain, were up next in one of the cheerleader rooms with benches, feeling and eating each other very nicely as they showed a lot of chemistry together. The ass licking was common but there were no toys and it seemed edited too short.

Scene Seven: Anna Mills, the cute blonde on the lower left hand corner (third from the bottom), was in the infirmary with goofy Steve Hatcher as the meat puppet. The oral was solid and her deepthroating skills proved to be far better than she was generally known for. The penetration was in both holes with her acting far more active in the vaginal then the anal. She was a dirty talker and clamped up during the facial but was otherwise a decent performer here.

Scene Eight: Shayla LaVeaux, Kylie Wilde, Cameron Cain, and Violet Blue were in the locker room for some foot sucking. I was surprised that it did not go much further than that and this was another case where the sexual activity provided a switch up.

Scene Nine: Joelean, Mary Carey, and Lexi Lamour, finished up the movie with a lesbian tryst in the barren work out room (it had an exercise bicycle). The licking, sucking, and stroking were all nice but unfulfilling too as the trio needed to do more. Mary used her breasts on a footjob, earning kudos from Jim in the commentary but Joelean really struck my fancy as looking fine here with the fittest body. There were no toys used in the scene and the trio had some nice chemistry together to finish up the flick.

Summary: Cheerleader School: Special Edition by director Jim Holliday for VCA Pictures was probably one of the last movies of his that simply didn't work for me consistently thanks to the way scenes would start up and then stop before much happened. The casting also relied on some of the ladies having more chemistry then they displayed with the extras almost enough to elevate the rating above a Rent It. In short, Cheerleader School: Special Edition had an awesome cover but the contents of the movie were not up to par, making it a cute title for a viewing or two but nothing that really worked enough to buy unless you get it on sale or are a slavering fanboy of half the cast.
