Audio/Video Quality: Sexy Underthings is a compilation of scenes from the last several years released by Digital Sin/New Sensations/21 Sextury, the opening scene on the first disc advertised as exclusive to this compilation. The visual quality of the 1.78:1 anamorphically shot scenes varied with the directors (from the visual appeal of Eddie Powell’s work to the much spottier looking material by John Walton to the often decent material shot by Miles Long). The lighting was usually flat and even with the editing ranging a wider range than I cared for, the video bitrate often in the upper 5.2 Mbps area or better. There was a company watermark at all times in the lower right hand corner but it was small and unobtrusive, often blending in completely unless I was consciously looking for it. Some of the camera work was markedly better than in other scenes but the selection of action included at least some lingerie in all scenes, the skin tones and color accuracy handled well enough for the purposes of a compilation. The audio was done in 2.0 Dolby Digital with 48 kHz sampling rate and 192 Kbps audio bitrate, most of the scenes more generic in this area than the visuals. Typically, the scenes would begin with some generic music during the tease and then transition to vocals alone once the sex began.

Body of Review: Digital Sin (and New Sensations/21 Sextury) is a company long known for stylish all-sex scenes, making quite a mark in the parody market more recently, and for making more themed compilations than any of the major companies in the industry. That is why I was pleasantly surprised to get in the double disc Sexy Underthingsfor review the other day, the 11 scenes offering up almost six hours of smut to appreciate. Fans may appreciate that the opening scene was brand new (previously unreleased), a marked change in company policy, but ultimately the key selling point was the lingerie worn by the ladies. Having seen several of the included scenes (they came from shows over the last 3 years or so) previously, none of them appeared to be cut or edited from their previous showings, my biggest concern being that few of them were really heavy on the use of lingerie. Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and the movie they came from, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Sexy Underthings: Victoria Rae Black, Bruce Venture: Victoria Rae Black, a curvy gal with long tresses of hair and an all natural body, was up first with Bruce Venture in the first scene of the compilation. As this scene was billed as brand new and never seen before, I figured it make sense to review it while leaving you to check out the original scenes for the others via the IAFD. Victoria has made precious few scenes on DVD and she wore the advertised lingerie here, sadly ditching it too soon in order to masturbate in a chair near some stairs. She was a decent enough soloist but moper Bruce wanted to warm her up some more, fingering and eating her until she reciprocated by slobbing his knob. That led to some active vaginal riding positions that seemed strokable enough, hampered only by their relative lack of personal connection or chemistry for one another. The scene finished up with Bruce beating off a round of spunk all over her feet, some minor post coital head provided before the next scene began.

Scene Six: Cum For Me: Chanel Preston, Mike Adriano: Chanel Preston teases us in a sexy black and pink lingerie set, which shows off her rack and backside. The tease doesn’t last long and Mike gets Chanel indoors, eating her pussy and fingering her ass. Chanel gives Mike a sloppy blowjob that includes some light face fucking. A few minutes into missionary and Mike blows his load, but he immediately goes for round two. Chanel comes multiple times, especially as she uses the wand and gets stuffed by Mike simultaneously. Summary: Sexy Underthings by Digital Sin and affiliated companies, was an okay compilation in most ways. There was a decently diverse cast of ladies (as listed above) and each of them wore some form of lingerie at the beginning of their scenes, the kicker was that they typically lost said undies very soon after the tease. Most of the scenes also followed a strict formula of sorts, the tease, oral, vaginal, popshot of genetic juice occasionally augmented by some anal or DP work that doubled the loads of population pudding tossed around. In any case, I would have appreciated more tease and more devotion to the ladies keeping their lingerie on longer to make this truly stand out, then it might have reached the same heights as the “I Heart/Love…” series in terms of providing what fans are looking for. The stand out scenes for me were the Chanel Preston tryst (hence my linking it above), Kelly Divine with Alex, and the Amy Ried outing but none of the scenes was bad, just a bit too generic to inspire a lot of replay value so I rated it as a Rent It. In short, Sexy Underthings was a lot of fuck for the buck in terms of the length of the eleven scenes but even with (mostly) decent technical values and a nice cast, it did not strike me as being as good as other company compilations this time so look before you leap by renting it.
