Extras: The extras were all contained on the second disc, starting off with a 20:01 minute Behind the Scenes feature where the cast was interviewed while in makeup as well as on the primary set. Next up was the non-sex versions of The Godfather XXX and Romeo & Juliet XXX parodies, together lasting 53:37 minutes and enjoyable in both forms. Then came a photogallery, some trailers, a free DVD offer, and other forms of spam.

Audio/Video Quality: Laverne & Shirley XXX: A Dreamzone Parody was offered in a clear, anamorphic widescreen presentation as shot by director Jordan Septo for Dreamzone Entertainment. The ending credits did not list many people with specific production roles, the lighting capably handled, the editing a bit clunky at times without transitional shots (to show the program has moved to another location; like showing the front of a pizzeria, the apartment building, etc.), and the others that comprise a movie but the visuals were otherwise well done in my estimation (except maybe Riley’s wig that made her look a little Mongoloid at times or things like the hand in the doorway when Lenny & Squiggy fumbled with getting out of the apartment early on). The aural components started off with a very similar sounding theme song I liked a lot, the rest of the vocals on the hollow side to say the least; easy to hear but extremely loud and echoing.

Body of Review: Jordan Septo has been making successful parodies for Dreamzone Entertainment of late, showing the world that a gonzo guy can outdo many of the feature fuckers at their own game. Recently, he tried something new with Laverne & Shirley XXX: A Dreamzone Parody, the movie parodying a hit television show of the 1970’s that was itself a spinoff of another famous show (Happy Days). For those too young to remember, the show was about a couple of working girls at a brewery distillery who dreamed of a better life decades back. Many of their exploits centered on daring and trying to find “Mr. Right”, the potential for a sexual parody quite high compared to many similar sitcoms. Of special interest was the two leads being Chanel Preston as Laverne and Riley Ried as Shirley, their personal chemistry together and with the rest of the cast adding up to a great deal of potential for Jordan to explore (as writer and director). The back cover described the double disc offering like this: “Laverne & Shirley are two All-American girls from Milwaukee, doin' it their way. They're trying to make their dreams come true. But when their landlord, Mrs. Babish, is looking for the rent, reality sets in. But with the help of horny neighbors like Lenny and Squiggy, Laverne's crazy dad, and Shirley's boyfriend (The Big Ragoo), there's no stopping them.” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Riley “Shirley” Reid, the attractive young hotty seen on the right side of the cover in the polka dot dress, was up first on a small couch with Anthony “Carmine” Rosano, his dance number suitable enough to warm her up. It was funny to see the guys keep in character so well, Chanel herself doing just fine herself in that regard. There might not have been a bunch of moper splooge flying around but less spew to clean up is not a bad thing, their snail trials left all over the couch and faces with a lot of enthusiasm and energy driving the heated scene. Of interest was how much emphasis they placed on rimming and rubbing twats with their hands (as well as tribbing toward the end), some foot fetish work included as well but each of them taking turns being in charge of the other.

Summary: Laverne & Shirley XXX: A Dreamzone Parody by director Jordan Septo for Dreamzone Entertainment was clearly shot quickly and on a low budget but it emulated the source material a lot better than many parodies have of late, some care put into the sets and general “look” of the television show. The leads, Chanel as Laverne and Riley as Shirley, were great (overbite or not) and the minimal plotted elements were similar enough to a variety of actual episodes that I felt it earned a rating of Recommended, the sexual trysts certainly strokable with replay value (and the ladies much hotter than the originals). In short, Laverne & Shirley XXX: A Dreamzone Parody came across as one of their better works to date, the entire cast reminiscent of the original actors (with the strange exception of Anthony Rosano who is typically the best of the batch in such shows), Tommy Pistol earning the nod for the closest physical resemblance to a character; David Lander (“Squiggy”), though both he and Seth Gamble (as “Lenny”) did a great job in their roles.
