Extras: The first disc had a pop shot reel but that was all. The second disc began with a 37:19 minute long Behind the Scenes feature, then a second BTS feature lasting 33:11 minutes, and then a third BTS lasting 23:32 minutes (a fourth “Bonus BTS” offered later on in the disc lasting 13:54 minutes but having compromised visual quality). There was some interview material and some additional sex footage but most of the BTS features offered up a wide variety of material from the locations and scenes as they were being shot and developed (and well worth watching). There was a non-sex version of the movie lasting 29:50 minutes, a photogallery, and an IPod ready version of the full movie too, another fine package of valued extras to compliment the already appreciated feature itself.

The Special Effects

Audio/Video Quality: Iron Man XXX was presented in anamorphic 1.78:1 widescreen as shot by director Sinister X (an all new alias for an established director) for Exquisite Multimedia. This standard definition version was presented in the MPEG-2 codec, the bitrate not impacting the final product, the colors all bright and indicative of the original characters thanks in part to solid lighting. There were few flaws in the visuals to speak of, limited grain and no observed compression artifacts, the modest special effects suitable for a mid-level porno, the composition tending to strongly favor the women. The editing by Rob and Tom Byron showed some care and frankly, it worked for me on both levels, the cheese factor well established and the sex decent enough to merit some replay value. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo with a 48 kHz sampling rate and 192 Kbps audio bitrate, the blend of vocals to the other aural aspects of the show adding some flavor to the total package.

Body of Review: Exquisite Multimedia and their distribution deal with director Sinister X/Rob Black has been one of the most successful in terms of getting quality product on the superhero porn parody market. While Captain America XXX was good, it wasn’t as good as his previous efforts so I looked forward to the promise of Iron Man XXXas his “best parody to date” (per an insider). In large part, it succeeded as a feature and sexually both, Chanel Preston and Tanya Tate providing their curvy experienced bodies to the mix while Gracie Glam and Heather Starlet came in as the youthful babes so many want to check out. The others were good too but Seth Gamble played the role of Tony Stark/Iron Man better than expected, the other males rounding out the cast well enough that this should be nominated for awards in several categories.
