Audio/Video Quality: Buttman’s Double Speculum Club was presented in the improved 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director John Stagliano for Evil Angel. The quick version is that the camera work was handled in POV fashion by John himself, minimal editing points showing up as the smooth nature of the transitions from one toy to the next occurred. The lighting was ample and the approach elegant in its simplicity, as always for the series I like so much, a company watermark observed throughout the show. The 2.0 Dolby Digital English audio track was as basic as gonzo porn came be, with limited talking going on outside of John's own directions in the background. The cast could be heard moaning & groaning (as well as interacting with John of course) but this was definitely a limited selection based on audio quality.

Body of Review: John Stagliano has long been held as one of the best directors of gonzo porn, the company he founded, Evil Angel, allowing him to cultivate other directors of like mind. His latest title making it my way this week is Buttman’s Double Speculum Club, the movie seemingly a spinoff of his various “Stretch Class” titles garnering so much acclaim. Rather than focus on various mopes unleashing loads of genetic juice, population pudding, or spunk, John simply gets some of the best world class ass available and plies them with speculums, exploring their pussies and asses for all they are worth. This title will not appeal to everyone out there but dedicated ass lovers will likely find it to be just off the beaten track enough to merit additional attention from the piles of generic porn on the market, the inclusion of ladies such as Kelly Divine, Jada Stevens, Sheena Shaw, and Anikka Albrite sure livening up my day. As far as exactly how it differed from the other series, think of it as Stretch Class on steroids, John enlisting two women per scene to play with one another and engage in lesbian antics while all the rest of the action remained the same in the three scenes (lengthy scenes).

Scene One: Jada Stevens, a curvy brunette Buttwoman, and blond babe Roxy Raye, both seen on the lower left hand corner of the front cover, were up first as they experimented with a couple of plastic speculums orally. They wore slutty, revealing attire one would expect from the Stretch Class series, Jada stuffing her face in Roxy’s ass crack with only some flimsy yellow material and a blue thong between them. Scene Two: Sheena Shaw and Chanel Preston, the attractive ladies featured on the upper half of the front cover, were up next as they followed through on most of the stunts used in the first scene. Both ladies are well known as high end hotties, emphasis on “end”, the anal queens tasked with getting each other off before the double speculum acts were handled. Sheena fleshed out from her last time in a related series and John sang her praises because of it, Chanel admiring the popular hotty in something of a mutual admiration club. Summary: Buttman’s Double Speculum Club by director John Stagliano for Evil Angel was a single disc release full of tease, toy use, and the kind of freedom from conventional porn formulas that worked for me in terms of replay value and strokability. I admit that I am not a huge fan of speculum use in the Stretch Class series but I rated this as Recommended for fans of the genre as well as those that adore shapely ladies. Fans of Jada Stevens, Chanel Preston, and Roxy Raye should consider this another “must have” production, the rest of the ladies just as smoking hot as ever too. In short, Buttman’s Double Speculum Club, employed a lot of what I call “fun factor” for ass lovers to appreciate, the six lovely ladies all giving a show worth checking out for repeated viewings thanks to their enjoyment of the tease and toys. If you appreciate the Stretch Class series, consider this an upgrade in most ways, John sniffing ass from time to time but leaving the heavy duty booty work to the ladies themselves.
