Audio/Video Quality: Jack's Playground 33 was presented in 1.85: anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Robby D. for release by Digital Playground. The lighting was solid here, as expected, and that meant that the limited amounts of grain and other visual elements used to lend a sense of texture were minimal. As is usually the case in the series (and related series), the visual elements of the movie were consciously designed to look as they did with a slightly rough look to support the thematic concept of the show where geeky Jack is trying to score women by use of his possible connections in the music video business. The composition of the shots and the editing enhanced the look of the ladies more than a little bit too, proving what this critic has to say about the production team led by Robby (including Nick P and Joey "Joe Joe" Pulgadas) with the DVD mastering revealing no compression artifacts. The audio was presented in a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround with a minimalist leaning that seemed unique in most ways to productions outside of the Jack series, with the vocals always dominating the audio track as I like it.

Body of Review: The Jack's Playground Series by director Robby D. for Digital Playground has been around far longer then most porn comedy series. You could argue that this is so because it's cheaper to make, that the ladies used in the scenes are a wide variety of quality talent, or that he keeps it fresh with the assistance of his collaborative team that includes Nick "The Wizard" P. and Joey "The Mechanic" Pulgadas. Thankfully, the reasoning for the success of the series is a moot point because one of the most compelling reasons to pick up whatever volume comes out is how you're never quite sure of what will happen, who will walk in on a scene, or what kind of hilarious comedy will find its way into the movie. Recently, the series has often been sidestepped to offer up spin offs galore but after months of waiting, Jack's Playground 33 is finally ready to ship next year (this being the last week of December, that sounds a long way away, yes?). Like this past summers Jack's Playground 32 and other predecessors, the show featured Robby as Jack, a scammer with his camera coaxing willing ladies with his promise of fame, fortune, and employment in the music video business. The action was all in good fun with a nice mix of gals in a number of quality scenes. The company website had it right when they wrote the following: "Jack's Playground 33, features Digital Playground's one and only insatiable and sexy Devon. It also has new footage of Devon so her fans should consider this a must have as she's been off the charts for awhile now, allowing some anticipation build up before she starts shooting for another company.
