Extras: The best extra was the 23:08 minute long Behind the Scenes feature, the footage comprised of a series of post sex interviews with the cast (Evan Stone the funniest of the bunch but all of them interesting to listen to). There was then a sex act menu, a photogallery, some trailers, spam and company information. Each of the interviews was different but allowed the cast and director put their scene in context as well as allow them to expound on various topics so don’t miss it.

Audio/Video Quality: My Family’s Creampie Recipe was presented in anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Jacky St. James for Digital Sin under her well established Tabu Tales line. The solid lighting kept the flesh tones looking exceptional and the resolution of the scenes working best, few compression artifacts observed when watching the movie on the big screen television. The camera operators were Eddie Powell and Paul Woodcrest this time, both of them providing the needed visual elements to make the production work best. It was clear that a lot of work went into the movie and it looked really good, the editing by Gabrielle Anex and lighting helping a bunch. There was a company watermark in the lower right corner of the screen but it was very light and unobtrusive so few should complain. The aural components were well done too, the quality of the stereo English presentation combining clear vocals, appropriate ambient sounds, and a mixture of well handled musical pieces to work really well.

Body of Review: Jacky St. James is an award winning director that continues to evolve with her work at Digital Sin, one of her favorite projects called “Tabu Tales”. Having enjoyed many of the scenes from the line myself and singing the praises of the resulting DVD’s, I look forward to seeing them whenever they come in for review, the latest this time being last month’s release of My Family’s Creampie Recipe. The series still focuses on sexual trysts that are socially unacceptable but expanded a little this time including creampies, the ladies including babes such as XCritic award winner Carter Cruise, Rilynn Rae, Sabrina Banks, and Jodi Taylor all provided a single scene to impress viewers with. Jacky made the scenes work by keeping them simple while ensuring the technical aspects were well handled and the casting fit the scenarios in each case, the result being another well crafted package to appreciate.

The back cover described the movie like this: “When Sex is on the Menu, There's Nothing Better Than My Family's Creampie Recipe. While teaching his stepdaughter, Jodi, the importance of safe sex, Evan discovers that the two of them are turned on by the same sexual fetish. I know some out there prefer the brighter themes of Jacky’s Romance lines to the forbidden fruit aspects of Tabu Tales but the darker elements give more to work with and remain more interesting over time for some, enhancing replay value for many and strokability for others. This time, the series of vignettes earned a rating of Highly Recommended courtesy of efforts in front and behind the camera. While perhaps not her best work of the past year, each offered good replay value and strokability while supplying the creampies suggested in the title with fairly believable consistency. In short, I liked My Family’s Creampie Recipe as another very appealing release in the “Tabu Tales” line, Jacky continuing to rake in the awards as she did from XCritic this week.
