Extras: The extras included some trailers, a “club offer”, web info, spam, a photogallery, a Behind the Scenes feature lasting 10:12 minutes, starting with Carter mugging for the camera, then a short montage, interviews, and some photogallery stuff with kidding by the leads, and then a bonus scene lasting 34:16 minutes from Lez Be Lovers starring Kierra Wilde & Kendall Karson (that ends in a shower scene where they masturbate with large dildos). I would have preferred all the extras relate to the movie itself but it was a good selection all the same.

Audio/Video Quality: Anikka & Carter was presented in anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Andre Madness for Adam & Eve. Ralph Parfait was the director of photography using cameraman “Nolo” while Frank Armitage served as the sound engineer, Andre handling the editing per the credits. The lighting was solid throughout the flick, from the outdoor footage to the inside of the house and in the shower, even the all white room not washing out the fleshtones for the most part. The framing was another matter though, the abundance of close up shots weakening the replay value for me a bunch and the tendency to chop off major portions of the hot young ladies really not to my liking. There were not a lot of compression artifacts on my 70” television though and some portions looked decidedly better on my TV while other parts showed better on my computer monitor (when taking screen shots for this review), the audio provided in 2.0 Dolby Digital using the AC3 codec with a bitrate of 48 kHz and a sampling rate of 224 Kbps (with one exception where a lower, 192 Kbps bitrate was deployed). The vocals were slightly hollow at times and the music was present a lot more than it should have been but the aural qualities of the movie were not a big factor for or against it.

Body of Review: Andre Madness has directed a great deal of quality porn over the years, his latest works coming out on the Adam & Eve label. His most recent title coming in for review is called Anikka & Carter, a spotlight showcase of sorts where both Anikka Albrite and Carter Cruise, two of the most beautiful young blonds in porn of late, were given ample time to explore each other and other ladies in lesbian scenes. As a guy that has championed both ladies for years now, it seemed like a no brainer that the four scenes would rock my world, especially knowing that AJ Applegate, Mia Malkova, and other attractive ladies would be present but there was a down side here too, the way the scenes were shot and the limited nature of the action definitely weakening the movie as a whole.

The back cover described the movie like this: “With their beautiful faces, smoking hot bodies, fun personalities and voracious sexual appetites, it's easy to see why Anikka Albrite (2015 AVN Performer of the Year) and Carter Cruise (AVN Starlet of the Year) are the "IT" girls of XXX! Put them together with 4 horny gal pals and get ready for a super sexy lesbian free-for-all!” The company website then described the show like this: “Sometimes you don't need a plot for a porn movie - not when the subjects are as hot as Anikka Albrite and Carter Cruise! That's right - 2015's XBIZ and AVN Female Performer of the Year is teaming up with 2015's Best New Starlet and Best Actress for a sizzling showcase of the best that porn has to offer. You've got a ringside seat for a special show that features both girls in four scenes, including three intimate girl/girl sessions and a smoking-hot lesbian four-way. Also starring Kalina Ryu, Sasha Heart, Mia Malkova and AJ Applegate” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Carter Cruise, the best new starlet feature on the left side of the front cover, and best female performer Anikka Albrite, were up first outside in skimpy lingerie, droning music playing as each gave a short tease before hooking up on a leather couch in the well manicured yard. Anikka was thicker than Carer but each was sexy, their coy attitudes as they performed for the camera including a lot of groping and necking, their outfits cast to the side as pierced boobs were sucked and some gash gobbling took place, the music thankfully dying out as they continued with a waterfall going in the background. They used some minimal toys to probe pussy and ass, both even backing up to each other on one, but it was not paced well and the brevity of most shots struck me as mediocre, the action ended when the ladies shared a toy out of Anikka’s ass. The company website describe the scene like this: “It's the pairing you've been waiting for, right off the bat! Anikka and Carter tease each other with sexy poses and seductive looks in a beautiful outdoor garden, and then get down to business. These gorgeous bikini-clad hotties can't wait to get each other naked and spread open, and we can't wait to see it! Fingers, tongues and toys are deployed to maximum effect as these two award-winning superstars show us - and each other - why they're the best in the business.”

Scene Two: Anikka Albrite, Carter Cruise, Kalina Ryu, and Sasha Heart, were up next in a lingerie infused lesbian orgy, each of the playful ladies edited into the jumpy tease montage in the white room to some okay music. This led to the ladies initially pairing off where Anikka and Carter peeled off attire together as frisky Kalina and Sasha did likewise beside them, the ladies kissing and applying some hand to gland friction before devouring pussy, way too much close up material keeping it all out of context too often though the ladies started gravitating toward different partners as the fingering and generic moaning took place. The company website describe the scene like this: “As if Anikka Albrite and Carter Cruise on their own weren't hot enough! This all-girl pleasurefest gets even hotter (and all-girlier) with the addition of Sasha Heart and Asian sensation Kalina Ryu. Scene Three: Carter Cruise, next dressed in a flimsy blue dress with her hair pulled up and some bright red panties creeping up her delicious ass, was paired up with fetching blond cutie Mia Malkova in an outdoor cabana. The tease was slow motion removal of their outfits and lingerie, then their stripper shoes, led to them kissing and caressing at length, Carter taking the lead as she sucked Mia’s boobs and nuzzled her neck. Mia took a turn doing likewise as well, both munching rug and fingering before kissing lips some more and tribbing, something missing from the action though it would have been a good warm up if it led to more.

Scene Four: AJ Applegate, a “dirty blonde” I have found particularly appealing in recent years, was up last with Anikka Albrite, both ladies all over each other to generic music as they playfully peeled off their already skimpy lingerie and kissed seductively, pawing each other as they moved to the glass shower to continue the tryst. Anikka seemed to adore AJ’s bald beaver and AJ really dug in when rimming Anikka’s perfect pucker while diddling her friend, the water pouring down on them helping AJ rub one out as Anikka hovered over her face for some oral attention on her pussy. This led to a modified 69 but only so much that Anikka was pleasuring AJ where the falling water hit her pussy, the action again seemingly truncated as it ended with them kissing while kneeling on the floor.

Summary: Anikka & Carter by director Andre Madness for Adam & Eve greatly benefited from the inclusion of Carter Cruise and/or Anikka Albrite in every scene (each lady in three scenes, two overlapping with each other) but the generic nature of the all girl, limited toy action watered down the replay value for me a great deal, the ladies both having truly shined in better works in recent years. As such, I rated the movie as a Rent It for a general audience, die hard fanboys of the ladies that haven’t seen some of their better works certain to consider this a “must have” so adjust the rating accordingly. In short, Anikka & Carter was a lipstick lesbian lite outing where fingers and tongues laps and probed all the right places, the show certainly pleasant but lacking in the kind of heat I am used to from either lady, almost as if Andre was ordered to make the movie to someone else’s specification rather than let the ladies go crazy on each other so check it out and let me know what you think.
