Audio/Video Quality: Voluptubutts was presented in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen color as shot for Pink Visual by an uncredited director. The scenes were shot over a lengthy period of time (none showing any credit dates) but the basics were covered well enough, the limited camera work not weakened by filters, gels, and all sorts of fancy camera tricks like a handful of weaker companies seem so apt to use these days. The resolution was modest and the bitrate bounced around a lot, the clarity of the household settings decent with ample lighting. The audio was provided in 2.0 Dolby Digital English, the sampling rate of 48 kHz and 192 Kbps bitrate adequate to cover the aural components of the four separate scenes. If you favor a “back to basics” approach, this will suit you.

Body of Review: Pink Visual has been making internet porn for years, then releasing themed compilations of web-to-DVD scenes for the enjoyment of another group of folks. Their latest such release making it to me is called Voluptubutts, a selection of four scenes starring ladies with shapely (read: large) asses who have sex with uncredited men. Some of the scenes were taken from early in the careers of the ladies, typically between 2004 and 2007 from what they said in their introductory interviews, and as far as I know, none of the scenes were released on DVD per using the IAFD to research them. The company described it like this: “Do you like big, meaty, untamable asses? Yes? Get up close and personal with Voluptubutts! Talk about mud flaps! Oil 'em, smack 'em, and worship them! Then put a rubber band around your head and snap out of it! your big ass dreams just came true!” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Summary: Voluptubutts by Pink Visual was a selection of four ass-centric scenes without the benefit of anal, some of them shot years and years ago but not credited as such. My pet peeve about compilations passed off as brand new material aside (leaving out the last stage name of two of the ladies seemed to be on purpose) kicked in but the scenes were still enough fun to remind me to mention that fans of their “Bubble Butts Galore” series and others might appreciate just signing up for the company website than picking out a single DVD over four scenes that were on the generic side. More of the company’s recent works have been better but I figured this was worth a rating of Rent It if you are into the cast at all. In any case, Voluptubutts might not be one of the big titles crossing your path anytime soon but using the likes of Carmel Moore and Ricki White as reasons to rub a few loads out is always a plus so check it out.
