Extra's: The best extra was the inclusion of an 11 minute long Behind the Scenes feature shot by Scott K. It had a lot of the humorous pop up video styled comments added in as well as Robby and the crew mugging for the camera but I wish there was more (my common refrain; "since it adds value"). It started off with a western theme that had me and a few friends busting out laughing. The anal tutorial was hilarious too but it was a nice addition to the DVD by any standard. Audio/Video Quality: Tryst was presented in the same 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen color it was shot in by Director of Photography Robby D. for conceptual director Celeste to be released by Digital Playground. In terms of lighting and sheer quality of picture, the movie was looking about as solid as anything shot for the company in HD (at least in the "Celeste style") with the scenes all being distinctively captured in slightly different variations as Celeste likes to have Robby D. do for her. The lighting again varied too much to nail it down to a particular style but suffice it to say that the female eroticism Celeste sought to achieve was in full bloom in all the scenes (as always). There was no unintentional grain or video noise observed, I saw no compression artifacts, and the composition of the scenes was such that all the gals were made to look fantastic. There was a tendency to over light the scenes (to the point of some harshness) this time but each scene was different to some extent in terms of the technical aspects. Celeste's slow motion, heavily edited visuals (this time credited to Nick) and other special effects were also used a lot so make no mistake about it; this was another "love it or hate it" style of photography. It was a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround track and had some decent separation and dynamic range, with the various selections providing a nice aural setting for the visuals in the location it was shot in. The down side was, as always, the lack of a vocal track to enhance the scenes via aural communication. The music may have been excellent (this time left uncredited though at least a few of the tracks had Joey Pulgadas written all over them) but like the visuals, a bit of variety in the use of vocals might've been a nice change of pace too.

Body of Review: Sophia Santi is currently one of the hottest looking contract gals in the porn industry, having changed her name from Natalia Cruz to work for one of the flagship companies of the time, Digital Playground. Currently, she only does women in her scenes and her work at Penthouse aside, she is destined to draw huge crowds thanks to her growing body of work that emphasizes her looks and sensual appeal. Her next project to be released is an erotic journey by director Celeste called Tryst; a series of scenes that almost all star the lovely brunette as she tries out numerous personas. My early look at the title confirmed what I already suspected in terms of the technical matters (see above) but given the strengths Sophia possesses, she is one of the few ladies in porn that can almost pull off the stylish, perhaps romantic, angle that the director shoots for. This is not a backhanded compliment since fans either love or hate the manner in which said movies are shot but it's fair to note that Sophia is still cock shy, slowly evolving into the possibility by handling dildos and vibrators as though they were the real thing; giving us all hope. If you're still interested, and her fans should be, here's a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used in the movie:

Scene One: Sophia Santi, the hotty on the left hand side of the front DVD cover, was up first in a weird little look using some color effects much like those used in mainstream flick Sin City with lean black gal Kapri Styles. Sophia was the dominant partner here, fingering, licking, and using a toy on Kapri's ass (funny bit in the BTS about that too). Watching Kapri's ass cheeks shake was cool except that it was in slow motion and done to some jazzy music that I'm not into. Kapri licked the toy clean and reversed the roles a little, using a clear dildo on Sophia's tasty little cookie as she ate it too. I'll admit it was erotic and Sophia can't look bad under any circumstances by my viewing of it with a female friend sitting on my lap (that really likes the Celeste style by the way) sure improved the quality of the action for me more then the scene itself would have alone.

Scene Two: Sophia Santi, lying in a plain bed, had a dreamy sequence with a dildo in her skimpy outfit next. The dildo was attached to a torso styled framework, teasing the camera as she slowly sucked and licked it as though she had changed her dynamic to include men. This actually worked better for me since the combination of tease, camera work, and hint of things to come (a variation of tease admittedly) was what I think "Celeste" was going for. Scene Three: Faith, a very appealing brunette with some beautiful eyes and affine figure, was up next with Sophia Santi, and Scott Nails. There was a bit of a jarring change in the scene when out of nowhere Sophia started riding a dildo strapped to Jelena's thigh (more of a transition might have worked better for me) but I could watch her ass slowly pump at ANY speed on a cock (real or fake) and be mesmerized. The tough touching that closed out the show was pretty decent too although the soft kissing worked even better.

Scene Six: Tory Lane, one of the hottest extreme queens in porn these days, was up next with Scott Nails as he tried to dominate her in her outfit that restricted her movements. While I have my issues with the style employed here, I can't deny that I saw first hand the effects several of the scenes had on a friend of mine that was purring in no time, making comments that she enjoyed it a lot better than the usual dreck I let her sit in on (she really hated Tailgunners and Safado). In that sense, your mileage may vary but I'll split the difference and rate Tryst as Recommended; knowing such titles tend to polarize the porn watching audience (in a Mars vs. Venus sort of way).
