Review: Hustler's first volume of Call Girls Undercover is setup as
a inside look into the world of callgirls. In the real world, documentaries
like Hookers at the Point show the seedy and sleazy side of prostitution.
In the porn world, you would think you'd get a different story. Call
Girls Undercover doesn't get extremely bleak, but it comes nowhere near arousing.
Before each scene, Karl Morino talks (on and on) about hookers; how they are,
who they are, where they are. Several of the girls dialogue, during the overdubbed
intro, refer to how much they dislike who or what they are doing. Their facial
expressions and body language also convey these thoughts, so most of the time,
it's a uninspired and boring scene for the viewer to watch. In most of the scenes,
the people paying for the sex make sure to refer to the girls by using derogatory
names or comments. I wish I could write something nice about this movie, but
I can't find anything. I wish I could point out a standout scene, but they all
are equally bad.
Overall Thoughts: I don't know what the purpose of this movie is, but
it isn't a porno. Sure, it's got bad acting and hardcore sex, but the result
is about as hot as watching paint dry. Even the solo scenes have an odd, creepy
feel to them. A digitally altered voice instructs girls to various things for
a minute or so per girl. Other than some pretty women, there is nothing to like
about this dvd. Skip It.
