Audio/Video Quality: Buttslammers was presented in anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Derek Dozer for Airerose Entertainment. Derek was the one credited with “capturing” the footage, assisted by Sabo and Craig Daze in post production, the framing was better than some of his previous efforts but in the scenes with more than two ladies (#2, 3), he would use too many close ups to show all that was going on. The lighting was good though which led to accurate flesh tones, the editing style best applied to combining footage from multiple cameras rather than a single shooter. There were some compression artifacts but not as many as with other series, the lack of interviews and tease sure to bother some viewers. The aural qualities were in 2.0 Dolby Digital with 192 Kbps bitrate, the vocals clearly heard, even the whispers of what was wanted.

Body of Review: Derek Dozer has exploded all over the industry of late, his works for Airerose Entertainment garnering some positive attention. His latest release for them as a director comes out later this month, called Buttslammers. The series is dedicated to showcasing sexually aggressive young ladies into lesbian ass play, this time including ladies such as Bonnie Rotten, Phoenix Marie, Carter Cruise, Abella Danger, and AJ Applegate. My main concern going into this one was that it was a reboot of another director’s works from years ago, a gonzo legend by the name of Bruce Seven, no explanation of why it was called that, how it would be similar or different, and all the usual questions, some of us with enough knowledge on the subject thinking perhaps Derek should just start his own lesbian anal series instead. That it had a number of ladies I adore and the kind of oil action I first enjoyed via the original series, later becoming an industry standard when Elegant Angel led the charge into oiled up hotties with works from Bill Nutsack and Mason (who continue to follow their old formulas), Chris Streams and others fine tuning the details to often work better, did not make it a given that I would enjoy it.

The company press release described it like this: “Airerose Entertainment is thrilled to present the reboot of Bruce Seven’s legendary all-girl series Buttslammers. Featuring the classic set-up of anal-loving sluts locked in a room with a lubed up tarp, loads of oil, and a myriad selection of dildos, strap-ons, and butt plugs galore,Buttslammers is back to bring more jaws to the floor with a DVD street date of October 15. “This movie is definitely the most hardcore on the Airerose catalog,” says director Derek Dozer. “Every scene is a raw GGA [girl-girl-anal] action free-for-all. The original Buttslammers blew people’s minds, and our version brings the series to the present with 9 of the top-performers in the business. Pure hardcore gonzo magic” “As soon as we started teasing photos on social media, the response was immediate,” says Airerose Entertainment VP Adam H. “Beautiful girls covered in oil sliding around on a tarp and slamming various objects into each other’s butts to the point of orgasm seems like a no-brainer, but Buttslammers is a tall order, and Airerose is here to fill it. We can’t wait for fans to see it.” Buttslammers is the first volume of the Airerose reboot of Bruce Seven’s extravagant all-girl series now starring Abella Danger, Carter Cruise, Phoenix Marie, Adriana Chechik, Bonnie Rotten, Kleio Valentien, AJ Applegate, Madelyn Monroe, and Sarah Shevon.” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

Scene One: Bonnie Rotten, a former performer of the year known for her many tattoos and high powered squirting abilities, and Austin native tattoo enthusiast Kleio Valentien, were up first (both seen featured on the upper right corner of the cover together). They had on their skimpy black cover outfits as they caressed and danced together, the camera bouncing around them as they slowly undressed to some garish music with light kissing and nibbles during their time on the second story landing of the contemporary home, their eye contact pretty solid as the music stopped and they laid out on a mattress covered by a black plastic tarp. They gobbled gash, fingered each other, and rimmed as though licking candy, Bonnie dominating early on as expected of her. Bonnie eased fingers into Kleio’s perfect pucker and commented as she got the gal off, pulling out a variety of toys to use on the blond hotty after finally oiling her ass up. Bonnie then drenched her with bodily fluids and a seductive kiss on the mouth soon translated into Kleio reciprocating, Bonnie pressing a wand vibrator hard against her own nearly bald beaver (just a landing strip) as Kleio fingered Bonnie’s ass with increasing numbers of fingers. The toys got bigger or longer as the scene progressed, the gals mounting opposing ends of a light purple double headed dildo to actively ride anally after more squirting, Bonnie easily the best part of the scene (though I like Kleio too, she seemed much more passive by comparison in the chemistry filled tryst).

Scene Two: A.J. Applegate, Madelyn Monroe, and Sarah Shevon, the three ladies featured on the upper left corner of the front cover, were up next with a table full of toys as they largely skipped the whole tease process (a bad idea) but made up for it somewhat by oiling up earlier. All three were very physically attractive and skilled sexually but AJ was the apple of my eye here (pun intended), her delicious ass and brilliant eyes always a treat for me to observe. Their thongs were nestled deep in their asses but the panties dropped early here too, Sarah fingering Madelyn as Madelyn eased a pink toy up AJ’s ass, additional toys and play leading to those two double teaming Sarah just as well. They did ATM without hesitation and spent a little time on stimulating pussies, the double headed dildo riding less successful here than in the first scene. Sarah then showed her ability to prolapse her ass, Madelyn calling it “creepy” while AJ settled for “crazy”, Sarah masturbating to a fluid release before AJ was serviced, the idea of focusing on a single gal at a time having some merit but missing opportunities too. In the end, they all got fucked in the ass with toys, were all oiled up, and were all vocal in their appreciation of each other, their eye contact and occasionally active riding nice but more energy and enthusiasm was needed to make these three starlets shine, Sarah really pouring on the squirting just before the scene ended prematurely.

Scene Three: Carter Cruise, Phoenix Marie, Abella Danger, and Adriana Chechik, the quartet of ladies featured on the bottom half of the front cover, were up last as the movie only had three scenes. Rather than provide a tease montage, interview, or other traditional opening, the gals quickly outlined any limits they had or what they wanted before they all jumped each other in the center of the room where a large cushioned pad was covered by black plastic. The ladies were actually not in their cover attire but skimpy bikinis, the clothing of little concern given how it was pushed to the side or taken off as needed, the oiling up happening quickly as the ladies anally fingered and gave each other a lot of head in slutty fashion. Considering each lady is currently classified as an “A lister”, not just for anal but in terms of widespread appeal (Phoenix serving as the current performer of the year from XCritic, Carter the reigning new starlet of the year everywhere, Abella the heavy favorite for best new starlet coming up, and Adriana one of the most demanded extreme queens in porn right now), this was easily the best scene of the bunch, the camera work typically better and the ladies all actively engaging each other, the oil and anal action superior to the other two scenes by a wide margin. They used a lot of toys and paired up a fair amount, the scene probably my favorite lesbian scene of late for casting alone, not just my heavy preference for oil and appreciation for toys. Fans of strap on dildo work will like this as will fans of lesbian air tight work, each young lady appearing to get off, adore their coworkers, and show they were allowed to follow their freak flag though the ending was way too abrupt.

Bonus Scene: Sorority Car Wash 2: The premiere scene in Derek Dozer's Sorority Car Wash 2 kicks off fantastically with gorgeous Brazilian beauty Carmen Caliente and a personal favorite of mine in the Latin hottie Gianna Nicole. Things open with the girls soaping themselves up as they wash a car, twerking and teasing the home viewers before they retreat indoors for some lesbianic fuck fun. Clothes come off faster than you can bat an eyelash once the action sets in, with a trusty hitachi wand being the toy of choice as the girls take turns munching each other's love muffins. A standard dildo is used by Gianna here, with Carmen sticking with the hitachi as they move into a classic 69 positioning for better access to each others cooters. Things progress pretty well, having a mainly authentic feel to it all mixed with some moments that are a little slower and less energetic near the latter moments of it. Things ultimately cap off after both girls seemed to have recieved their jolly's, twerking playfully for the camera before the screen fades into the next scene. Overall, this was a fun scene more than anything, having all of the components to make it whackworthy and some unfortunate bleakness scattered throughout. (review by Bobby Blake)

Summary: Buttslammers by director Derek Dozer for Airerose Entertainment had some decent oiled up lesbian ass play with toys and tongues for fans of ladies, that being about where the similarities with Bruce Seven ended. With all the advances and expectations of more modern porn yet the lower budgets, a “reborn” series opens the floodgates to all sorts of questions that were not answered yet providing enough strokability and replay value to merit a rating of Recommended from me. Keeping in mind that I love oiled up ladies and really appreciate when they playfully engage in ass play, Bruce’s older works better known for the ladies trying to get off than get each other off anally, so I was an easy sell for this kind of thing but it could be better so I hope Derek will be less aggressive with the camera movement and close ups (unless he’s going to use more cameras at the same time), allowing the ladies to shine without post production magic needed. In short, Buttslammers had plenty of top notch ladies into oiled up anal play such as Phoenix Marie, Abella Danger, AJ Applegate, and Carter Cruise to name a few, even squirters like Bonnie Rotten gushing like a geyser, to make this homage one worth checking out.
